The manager is a bit rude although the receptionists are very friendly. There is a view of and the constant sound of a manufacturing plant from the room balconies beyond a huge slab of a concrete terrace which is not pleasant. We spent 3 lovely days at the Hotel Aktea. It is a large, modern hotel with a wonderful swimming pool, we only had breakfast included but that too was very nice too. This is an ideal place for a relaxing holiday, very close to the centre of Lipari but very quiet too and there is a shuttlebus to the nearest... more
