This hotel is in a great position and has a lovely pool and access to the ocean if you want a swim. It is not in the main street , is about a 10 minute walk from the dock, and is therefore quiet at night time. The air-con worked on 1 of the 3 nights we stayed. The fridge did... More

We chose Lipari as an ideal base to tour the Aeolian Islands, and it lived up to it's promises. Lipari is a venerable town with an amazing range of old streets and alleyways. The Hotel is a 15 minute walk from the main ferry port (but only 5 mins from the old port where the fishermen and boat trips go... More

I stayed for 4 nights and had to use ear plugs just to sleep. The room they gave me was on the back side of the building, about 20 feet from the building on the opposite side of the street. Noise from people walking or stopped for conversation, motor scouters were continuous until late at night. The air conditioning system... More

We rented an apartment in Lipari that was affiliated with this hotel. We were offered a discount at the hotel restaurant that we thought we should take advantage of. What a mistake! Who would accept tinned clams in spaghetti alle vongole in Italy? Awful, awful, awful. Don't go .

We stayed at the Giardino Sul Mare for our honeymoon. The location of the hotel was good and we had a nice balcony overlooking the sea. The pool was well kept with an option to sunbathe by the sea. The room itself was very basic . All looked in desperate need of a makeover and the shower was like a... More

We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights in October and would have liked to have stayed longer. The position is delightful, overlooking the sea, with a large, well-maintained swimming pool and pleanty of chairs and loungers. Steps lead dwon into the sea for swimming. We booked a garden view room as the supplement for a sea view was pretty... More

A really lovely 3 star hotel. Fantastic situation near town centre and boats/ferries. On cliffs above sea, worth the extra money for sea view. Swimming pool terrace looks over sea and steps down to sea with some loungers . Lots fish in sea and they like to eat bread!! Rooms more than adequate, large balcony. Excellent food with large choice... More
