Hotel Amarea is a very relaxing and beautiful place to stay. It is convienently located very close to the beach as well as a supermarket, post office and beachside restauraunts. We've enjoyed this hotel! We payed in advance. 50 euro for a sea-view double with breakfast is very okay. Actually, I booked the cheapest room, it was described as not a sea-view, but they gave us a sea-view room with no extra money. maybe there were no cheap rooms left. Beg. of August 09 I stayed for 5 nights at the hotel Amarea in Lipari, better said in Cannetto which is maybe 4 kms from Lipari Town. http://www.hotelamarea.com/ The hotel is very conveniently located some meters away from the beach in Canetto.
