We booked a stay at the Miranda and requested a sea view room in all correspondence. On arrival we were shown into a side room with no view. We stayed at Locanda Miranda in May 2005 and thought it excellent. It's immaculately clean and well-managed and very tastefully decorated with subtle furnishings, antiques and intriguing paintings. The food is really delicious - all seafood and pasta, so not for committed carnivores (Michelin star).
