A group of us stayed at Locanda Miranda for two nights and had a wonderful experience. The rooms were very comfortable and welcoming. Dinner was fabulous both evenings. The dinner service was exceptionally good thanks to the server Grazia. I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a romantic get away that is off the beaten path. more

We found Locanda Miranda initially through the Karen Brown website and then contacted the property directly. All we can say is "Wow" after spending three wonderful nights. Giovanna, Angelo, and son, Alessandro are gracious hosts. When Giovanna took us to our room and flung open the drapes overlooking the Bay of Poets, our breath was nearly taken away. What a... more

We booked a stay at the Miranda and requested a sea view room in all correspondence. On arrival we were shown into a side room with no view. We then had to wait until the evening to speak with the relevant person about changing rooms. There were empty rooms on the same floor with sea views, we were reluctantly moved... more

This was our second visit and we found it to be the same great food, quiet location and welcoming hosts. We especially enjoyed being served by Gracie (I think spelled Grazie) she is really friendly and has pretty good English. She will help you with your Italian too. One of the reviews is critical of the food, but we find... more

We just returned from Italy where we enjoyed three days in Tellaro staying at Locanda Miranda. My rating would be 4.5 if possible. The accomadations were lovely. The rooms were furnished with antique type furniture; everything was perfectly maintained. The lower salon area was terrific -- lovely art collection. The view from our balcony was breathtaking. The seven course dinner... more

We stayed at Locanda Miranda becasue we were visiting the Cinque Terra for the first time and "foodie" friends of friends had recommended it due to the outstanding fish meals prepared at the inn. The rooms at the inn are very basic. Breakfast consisted of warm yogurt, a lemony croissant, toast and an expresso drink. There is a view of... more

Located in the picturesque tranquil village of Tellaro, Locanda Miranda is a peaceful place to spend a few days. The rooms are comfortable, most with sea views. Although they also overlook the road, traffic is mostly strollers rather than vehicular, as the road dead-ends in the centre of town a few metres away. The cuisine is classical Ligurian seafood and... more

My husband and I have just returned from two weeks in Italy during which we were lucky enough to spend two nights at the Locanda Miranda. We had found it by accident last year when we had an absolutely delicious lunch and resolved to return as soon as possible. We were not disappointed and the food was quite wonderful. If you... more

We stayed at Locanda Miranda in May 2005 and thought it excellent. It's immaculately clean and well-managed and very tastefully decorated with subtle furnishings, antiques and intriguing paintings. The food is really delicious - all seafood and pasta, so not for committed carnivores (Michelin star). Breakfasts comprised freshly squeezed juice, yoghurt and homemade pastries and jam - all mouthwateringly good.... more
