Why would you want to stay anywhere else in Lecce? From the moment we stepped through the front door we realised we had found somewhere very special. The unique atmosphere and cool tranquility of this lovely palazzo was only surpassed by the kindness of Anna and Luisa. We loved the space in our room, the quiet cool garden, sitting under... more

My husband and I are generally not B&B type of folks; while we like the picturesque, we do like our privacy and our comforts. However, in looking for a place to stay in Lecce, it seemed that all the hotels were on the outskirts of town, and we wanted to stay in a more central area. In looking around, I... more

I don't write that many reviews, but I couldn't let Fitzoid's dodgey [sic] review to go unchallenged. I must admit that I too originally expected the owners to stand outside the room to swat any mosquitoes who dared to approach our room (or perhaps to spray any mosquito-friendly environments in the Lecce area); but in fact it turned out during... more

The palazzo is lovely but our apartment was full of mosquitos and we noticed the other patrons also buying mosquito protection. There was a anti mosquito odoriser but that did little and there were many squashed mozzies on the walls. Breakfast was lovely but he owners claimed that they could not accept credit card or bancomat and i had to... more

We stayed at the hotel for 1 night out of 3 in Lecce because they were booked fully ,but how we wished we could have stayed the duration of our stay. Tucked away behind double doors on a busy street you enter into a beautiful old palazzo. We were shown to a huge room on the ground floor which opened... more

L'orangerie is fabulous. The rooms are spectacular in a very impressive villa....only exceeded by the hospitality of the owners. Our stay here made our trip to Puglia. The b&b is very centrally located within easy walking distance of the major sights in Lecce. As previously noted, parking is a major plus. But nothing compares with the way we were treated... more

We normally don't stay in B&B's when we travel, more out of habit than anything else. We, for some reason, couldn't get into the Patria Palace for the two days we stayed in Lecce so we selected L'Orangerie based on Trip Advisor reviews. We were not disappointed. This B&B is a former large villa directly on one of the streets... more

From arrival to departure, L'Orangerie D'Epoque is a true delight! Anna and Luisa are the most perfect hosts - nothing is too much trouble for them. The room was beautiful and the garden was wonderful - especially for the delicious breakfast, which is delivered each morning in a basket hanging on your door! See picture! Highly recommended as a base... more

We had such a lovely time in this gorgeous B&B. We arrived late, and had trouble finding it, and then had trouble finding parking, as we didn't realise the huge doors open up to a courtyard, where you can park. A lovely girl cam down to meet us, and when she showed us through an arch into another courtyard, this... more
