Just returned from 4 days at the patria palace. This is a great hotel in the centre of lecce. Had the quickest check in ever which was welcome aftera long journey from ireland. This hotel is superbly located in Lecce. It is also good in that they will park your car for you. There is a charge, but as parking in the town is a nightmare, this option is worth taking - and being grateful for! The good is that the hotel is well-located and the staff will garage your car. The rooms are small and definitely not elegant. Thought I was in the wrong place because the lobby is very small. You cant beat the location and although clean and comfortable the rooms are rather small and the bathroom not great. However compared with others we stayed in in S Italy, it stands out as being the best. Parking was posisble in nearby garages, a real plus for Lecce. more
