Palazzo Persone is an excellent hotel - a classy B & B - in the heart of the centro storico, couldn't be more central. Rooms are spacious with good bathroom, air con, etc. What makes it even more perfect, is the very helpful Anna in Reception, helped us with parking arrangements and so much more. Would thoroughly recommend.

Excellent choice in the heart of the Old Town We highly recommend the Palazzo Personé. We enjoyed our 3-day stay in The Arches room in April. The Palazzo is right next to the Basilica and an easy walk to all the major sites in Lecce, including some fabulous restaurants. Anna at reception was welcoming and helpful. Completely and tastefully modernized,... More

I would happily reflect what other reviewers have said about the location of this classy smart hotel, slap bang next to the Basilica. Could not have been more perfect for exploring this amazing city. Our room, opening onto the square with our own door, was huge and like sleeping in a church itself! (well, it had been a synagogue!). My... More

This splendidly located hotel, in the very centre of this fantastical city, right next to the magnificent Church of Santa Croce, was excellent in every way except that the charming reception staff, who had warned us in advance about extremely strict car-parking restrictions, did not in the event take what they said were the essential steps to avoid us being... This B&B is located 10 years from the Basilica in Lecce. It is in a 15th century building of the site of a Synagogue that was torn down by the Spaniards who drove the Turks out of the area. This is more like renting an apartment, it does not really have much services. If you want the best location in... More

This is a fine BD with personal care of the managing responsible !! The rooms are spacious ,the quality of the renovation is excellent , the decoration inside is minimal of good taste . It looks like a room of a boutique hotel !!! Two of them are situated in the basement of the Palazzo having access directly from the... More

Gorgeous! Loved staying here, great situation, beautiful characterful rooms, excellent breakfasts in the attached cafe, friendly staff;cannot think of anything adverse. We arrived by train so no parking difficulties and very much enjoyed frequent rail travel from our palazzo base. Oh the contrast with the awful British train system!

We spent three nights in September at Palazzo Persone and could not have been more pleased. Our room was huge, very clean and modern, but still retained historic charm. The ceilings soared! The staff was very friendly and helpful - especially Ana at the front desk. The bed was firm and very comfortable, the linens nice. The room included breakfast... More

We stayed only one night, spent 99 EUR for a nice large room and breakfast. The experience was great, we loved the room, the people and the place. There is no parking place nearby but the hotel warns you of this prior to your arrival by mail and offer to do something about it. If you are prepared to park... More

Right in the heart of this wonderful graceful city, our room was spacious and luxurious, yet still preserving its historic flavour. Opening the bedroom door, you step straight out into a little medieval pedestrian alleyway and are whisked straight back into time past. Breakfast is at a small commercial café round the corner run by the B&B owners. A knowledge... More
