The B & B is excellent and extends the tourist experience of the city of Lecce. The location in the center facilitates the rides and fast turn for a rest or a change of clothes. The palace is magnificent, the accommodation is classic and comfortable, the inner garden is very nice and well maintained. The breakfast is taken care of... More

the B&B is located in the historical part of town, where there is restricted access for cars. however, if you are traveling by car, your can enter the old part of town and park within the B&B. Nico, the host, was very friendly and helpful. The rooms (a bedroom and a living room) are very big, comfortable, looking out onto... More

We could not have been more delighted with Palazzo Bernardini--right in the heart of the centro storico, AND with parking in the palazzo's private courtyard right outside the door of our suite-with-garden. Perfect. Nikolaus manages the B and B and was the best possible host. His recommendations for restaurants (Blu Notte; Volo) were excellent, and he gave us a great... More

My wife and I recently spent four nights a Palazzo Bernardini during a tour of Puglia and a stay in Lecce. It was a good choice for us. The bed and breakfast is centrally located. The room was pleasant, with a small balcony overlooking the street below, a very comfortable bed and a newly refurbished bathroom. A very good breakfast... More

Three ground-floor suites at the rear of a Palazzo in the very heart of the Centro Storico, just behind the Duomo. Beautifully and sensitively furnished, each suite has a secluded patio in a walled garden with a splendid old Jacaranda tree. At check-in we were handed a map of the town and had a very informative 10-minute chat about the... More

The appartments of the Palazzo Bernardini are perfectly located right in the heart of the beautiful "centro storico". It's easy to find a parking spot around. There are many shops, restaurants, bars and nice places to visit just around the corner. Even in the late evening walking around is save. The terrace goes to the courtyard with view to the... More

We stayed in Lecce for one night only on our way from Naples to get the ferry to Corfu. Wish we'd stayed longer. The b and b is beautifully and elegantly decorated - our room was spacious and had a separate living area with fridge etc. Nice breakfast too. The owner was very polite, friendly and helpful (he likes his... More

The welcome from Nikolaos couldn't have been warmer. I had arranged to be picked up at the bus station as there are no buses allowed in the historic centre and I didn't have a car. Nikolaos spent a good 15 minutes showing me where everything was on the map (including some excellent restaurants) then showed me round the enormous suite... More

We stayed here for one night and were impressed with the fine interior (antique furniture, decorations) and state of the Palazzo. We were five and had an apartment on the ground floor with two bedrooms and bathrooms and an outdoor dining area in the beautiful garden. The palazzo is right in the center of Lecce and an excellent place to... More

We felt we made a very good choice in our decision to stay at Palazzo Bernardini during our recent visit to Lecce. Lecce is a delightful small city that attracts a significant number of tourists, but for some reason they do not overwhelm. The palazzo is located a very easy walk to the main piazzas of Lecce. If you are... More
