This B&B is in a good position on the edge of the beautiful old part of Lecce. All the major attractions, and numerous restaurants are within easy walking distance. Our room ("Leaves") was large and tastefully refurbished. It had a large comfortable bed, with a nice modern bathroom and small hydro shower. However, the accommodation is B&B only - no... More

We chose Palazzo De Giorgi not only because of its good reviews, but also because we were driving and liked the idea of being steps outside one of the many gates to enter historic Lecce. As soon as we arrived and were unsure of where to park, Daniele very kindly got into our car and we drove around the block... More

Lecce is a beatiful and very lively city. Palazzo de Giorgi is ideally located to visit the old centre. But what is more important, Daniele, the hospitable owner of the B&B, does everything to guarantee a great stay. The place is very well furnished, Daniele is a very kind host, and the breakfast is excellent - especially the cakes and... More

I was at a conference at the nearby University and stayed in this nice B&B. Actually it was only one "B", since there was no breakfast. The owner apologized and gave me as a kind of compensation a small cake upon my arrival, said it was made by his mother. The rooms are spacious, with a nice little balcony. The... More

Dear Guest, inside the Palace I manage a Bed and breakfast with 4 rooms and an apartment. Anyone books a room of Bed and breakfast can have the breakfast service included in the price. The apartment, equipped with personal entrance, fridge and cookery post, is a different type of stay and it doesn't include breakfast, as it is clearly written... More

Nice welcoming, newly opened, perfectly located make this b&b a gem for people exploring the city. Close to the station, just at the start of old town, 5 minutes walking to the main attractions but far from the noise of night life, perfect! The rooms are situated on the first floor of an elegant palace, there is not elevator (as... More

We spent 2 wonderful holidays in this marvellous and stylish palazzo, in the center of Lecce. Breakfast are delicious with homemade cakes and fresh fruits and the palazzo is exquisitely decorated, we felt at home. The bedrooms are spacious, calm, and very comfortable. And above all, the owner of the place, Daniele, is a perfect host and gave us precious... More

Daniele was very helpful even before we arrived at his b&b. I had lots of questions about puglia when I was planning my trip and Daniele was most kind to answer them via email. We love our rooms with high ceilings and very tasteful furnishings. Everything was clean and classy. Breakfast was good with lots of homemade cakes and jams.... More

This is the by far the best B&B I've stayed in in Italy. The location is really convenient for the train station, which is perfect for day trips from Lecce, and it's also really well situated (just a short walk) for the old town and shopping areas in new town. The B&B itself has been recently renovated, and everything is... More

From the moment we arrived, the owner Daniele made us feel at home. We could not have asked for a more comfortable place to stay. The rooms are very nicely decorated with antiques and some modern accents. We were treated like family. We would recommend Palazzo De Giorgi to everyone who visits Lecce. The location is great if you are... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The reception area is located on the 1st floor of an elegant building built for its owner, the lawyer Luigi De Giorgi, to a plan that was approved in May 1879 and so is an example of typical Lecce architecture of the second half of the Eighteenth Century. All the rooms of Palazzo De Giorgi B&B take their name from the restored decorative elements of the 6-meter vaulted ceilings or are inspired by the original painting. ... more   less
