Nona Jole is an exceptionally good B&B offering remarkable value in Lecce. It is in a great location for exploring the historical centre and there are several restaurants and bars in the narrow streets nearby. We had the Campanile room with the roof terrace at the top of the house. There are several narrow flights of stairs to the room... More

We had booked well in advance but the room was not available for whatever reason and we were moved to another B and B which was excellent. I don't like being bumped though and didn't appreciate it. The B and B is in the historical centre and we had great difficulty in finding it even with a GPS. Better instructions... More

Got the room with the rooftop terrace, which was nice, though you never knew when other guests might walk up to take a look around, so keep the door closed! Clean facilities and a nice host. I missed my train connection and arrived past midnight with no problems. Located in the historical center with lots of restaurants and sights within... More

At first we did not get a crib for our 1.5year old daughter because the room was too small, however we booked it in advance. Our first night was horrible but finally the next day we got one. Otherwise, perfect b&b to stay in the historical centre, nice host, nice breakfast, awesome rooftop terrace, all sights are reachable on foot.

Convenient location and clean rooms. Lecce is a beautiful town and the b&b was located in the center of the old town. The owner is quite strict. We asked for a later check out and was not able to nor were we able to store the bags. It's fair enough as it was mentioned to us check out was 10am... More

Very cosy and homelike place with breakfast that included for us fresh figs. Clean and well decorated. The owner Jan Paolo is very nice and welcoming. Location is very central. We would advise to everybody.

We stayed two nights in this b&b. The owner Gianpaolo is very helpful. The rooms are very nice and clean. We preferred the room Campenile at the top of the house (a bit stairs of course), but there is a nice terrace where you can enjoy the sun in relaxed and quite conditions. Nice place to discover the city of... More

We stayed at Nonna Jole for two nights late April. We had emailed to make our reservation and Gianpaolo was there to greet us at the agreed time. It is about an easy 10 minute walk from the train station. We were greeted by a lovely front door that when opened, you see the stairs are directly in front of... More

Set in the old town of Lecce and very quaint. A narrow frontage well maintained. Gianpaulo was so helpful during our stay and his instructions to find him on our arrival in Lecce were simple and spot on. Insisted on carrying our bags up the steep stairs and killed us with kindness. Went to the car park with us to... More

First the one drawback -- if you are disabled, you won't make it up the stairs to your room. But, that's the ONLY drawback. The room was large, clean, and immensely comfortable. The breakfast was huge, filling, and great quality. The location was central, but just enough off the beaten track to be quiet and tranquil. The staff was friendly,... More
