Firstly the area has little to offer. L'Aquila is a bit like a ghost town and little has been done since the earthquake. We chose this hotel for 2 nights in between Rome and Ravello to relax for a while. It was a struggle to find it but eventually we did. It is like an oasis in the middle of... More

Good evening , We apologize for the delay with we respond. We are sorry for the misunderstanding created during your stay at our relais, because be able to satisfy to the expectations of our customers is our target. During the summer the restaurant is often busy with weddings and events that reduce the availability of both restaurants, we try as... More

This is excellent hotel with perfect service and michelin star restaurant. We stayed 2 nights there and enjoyed the facilities. The rooms are comfortable and fancy. Service people are very friendly and nice. We had also both dinners in the restaurants as the city is quite devastated after earthquake. Recommended stay in this area is 1 night - you will... More

Beatiful building , nice staff and adequate breakfast . I imagine in summer this place would be wonderful . However I turned up after a ten hour drive and found the restaurant doesn't open Sundays . Thats the only problem , the location is poor with no facilities around . However it is immaculate and would love to go back... More

Very modern facilities in a nicely renovated building this hotel had a touch of class about it. Staff were very helpful, the breakfasts good and the waiting staff for dinners were excellent. We had a car so had no problems but without a car the location is too far out of town. Otherwise happy to recommend it to others.

This hotel seemed to be a hidden paradise to us! The whole area has been largely damaged by an earthquake and we could never expect to find such a luxury property there. My first choice in the whole 50-km area forever and would definitely recommend to those searching for relaxing overnight during the national park trip or for those willing... More

Our son married his Italian wife here in June,2013. About 20 UK guests and family also stayed here for 2 nights. The unanimous verdict for the hotel was that it was clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly, professional and helpful. The wedding was fabulous. The wedding couple had arranged a unique day including an outdoor ceremony which, apparently, is... More

Stayed here for one night. Beautiful atmposhere in entrance hall, real charme hotel. Room was perfect, very quite and clean. Located at the end of a dead end street, with nice parking, surrounded by snow covered mountains

Excellent use of after earth quake funds, this is a former windmill that has been turned into a boutique hotel, with very nice, new and clean rooms - all different, this is what they claim. The windmill is in the middle of a park with horses and riding stables, kids playground and swimming pool. Position is also good, isolated and... More

I stayed a this hotel two years ago (August 2010) and should have written this earlier since the short stay was entirely satisfactory. It is in a quite location, the staff very pleasant, the modern rooms confortable and the restaurant extremely good. From the current comments nothing has changed.

I cannot say enough good things about this hotel and the staff. Everything was immaculately clean and well maintained. The staff spoke English very well, the rooms were wonderful, and the food was amazing. This will certainly be our go-to hotel when returning to l'aquila. The free wi-fi was a huge bonus as we were here for business as well... More
