Booked an overnight stay only as we stopped here on our way to Portofino and far too expensive staying in Portofino, and only a half hour drive to Portofino the next morning. The front is promising, painted well, but the state of the interior,e.g. the elevator and the corridor floors is poorly, dirty and shabby. The room was painted in a disgustingly blue. To keep the flies out? Impossible to have the window open because of the traffic noise. The airco needed to be constant on because of a permanent hot piece... More

There is no air conditioning and no fan in the room. The window opens out on to a fast noisy road, and if that doesn't keep you awake, the mosquitos and frequent freight trains suddenly zooming past, probably will. Be careful in the bathroom.
