I came to stay at the hotel for three nights for a close friends wedding. The location is great and its across the street from the water. The accommodations where clean and they had a nice breakfast during my stay. The staff was very nice and helpful during check in and at breakfast. The breakfast staff at the hotel were exceptionally... More

Hotel Corallo is great value for money. The reception staff are helpful and charming, and the serving staff at breakfast cheerful and efficient. The buffet breakfast has a good range of foods and drinks, and the dessert table (which wouldn't usually interest me at breakfast) had a choice of fresh fruit salad, creme caramel and 2 or 3 freshly baked... We stayed for a week over new year. This was a great little hotel, very welcoming. The location is fab, it is very clean and the breakfast was good however the only hot things were the toast and the coffee, the selection was limited, but it is only 3 stars. The staff were all welcoming and I'm sure in summer... More

While visiting Italy, my wife and I picked Imperia for a two night visit. After searching hotels in the area, we chose the Hotel Corallo because of the view and from photos of the rooms. We booked a junior suite facing the sea and it had a wonderful view, especially during the sunrise and sunsets. We arrived the day after... More

We booked ahead for 5 days. The hotel first offered us a lower ground floor room which was modern and fairly plush but had a view of a rock. We asked for a room with a view over the sea and the woman seemed not particularly pleased we wanted to change. The new room was upper floor and the same... More

We spent a couple of relaxing days at the end August, start of September. The location is great: easy access to the beach, restaurants and within walking distance to the train station. The hotel also offers plenty of parking (available at the front and via the back entrance). The room was clean and spacious but the only thing that I... More

We checked in on short notice without reservation. We were asked wether to take a "old" or "modern" room. The modern room was 10€ more, so we decided to take the old one. The old one still had partly new furniture and AC. We were totally pleased with the room. The receptionists were always nice and helpful! Their English was... More

We were in transit but I really apreciated the location and the excellent sea side view. i just wished to have arrived earlier not in the middle of the night. The breakfast was ok. The room was clean, but had an unplesant smel. My room was overlooking the sea so I woke up with the waves noice - it was... More

Stayed here with wife, summer 2013, double room, sea view, balcony, 2nd floor. So far so good! First impressions- on entering hotel was 'are we in the right hotel?'. Once checked in with unfriendly receptionist, we headed for our room. Dated, unmaintained , with chipped furniture and clean but not new bed linen. Jacuzzi in room, however this was not... More

After reading some of the reviews I have had similar experience with the poor reviews. The location was excellent and the view fantastic. I had booked 7 months prior to staying at this hotel. The room in need of major refurbishment and also my teenage children were booked in on another floor. I looked around the hotel and indeed there... More
