We stayed at the Montebelli agriturismo as part of our VBT bike tour. Built in the 80's and with another part brand new, it was a beautiful place, especially the location and grounds. Our rooms were in the older part. They were spacious and charming. The newer part is awesome. Every detail is exquisite in design and execution. Your host... more

We took a room in the original agriturismo hotel, rather than the recently built country hotel. Lovely quite location some 600m up a white road, though a bit too far from the usual Tuscan haunts for our liking. Good sized room and nice facilities. Lovely grounds (olive groves and vineyards) for walking in (though note that it is quite hilly).... more

We stayed here for 3 nights after coming from a hectic family wedding and were in dire need of -peace and quiet and Montebelli met all our needs and more! The staff are so warm and friendly and we were on first-name terms with Alessandro, Clarence the chef and Nadia and Isabella the waitresses. The food was amazing all we... more

We are a family of four. Two boys ages 6 & 8. Travel frequently. We chose Montebelli based upon the reviews and their website. After a very hot & dusty stay in Rome, we arrived to the area somewhat anxious to the unknown. Rolling green hills, yellow fields of sunflowers and ancient towns cresting the mountaintops surround the area. Montebelli... more

I discovered Montebelli seven years ago and I go back every year in May or in October for enjoying nature, food and the welcoming place. It is also very well positioned for day trips. The palce and the countryside is weel above expectations, the web site does not reflect the actual beauty of the place. It is an excellent place... more

I took a group of high school art students to this wonderful place. Not only did they receive us with open arms, they treated us like family. I have never experienced such wonderful service. The staff was professional at all times, making us all feel special and appreciated. The rooms were beautifully appointed and very comfortable. The second story rooms... more

This was our 4th trip to Tuscany; since our first visit in 2000, we've never considered staying anywhere but Montebelli. The grounds are spectacular; both peaceful and idyllic. The rooms are large and furnished very comfortably. Breakfast and dinner are included in your stay--both are incredible. The chef prepares dishes of the region nightly; we have never been disappointed by... more

We stayed here as part of a group bicycle tour of Tuscany. The grounds were lovely, the service was gracious, our room was large and comfortable, the wine - produced on the grounds - was very very good and the food was excellent. I can highly recommend this spot. more

My wife had kept a little article on Montebelli - she stores anything that can be remotely interesting or helpful - waiting for our first opportunity to travel back to Tuscany (our favourite summer destination). We went there with our 1 year old daughter and felt immediately comfortable and welcomed. The nature and landscape were faboulus - especially the walks... more

Montebelli is truly beautiful. Alesandro makes sure that each guest is treated like family. The entire staff goes out of their way to make sure that you have everything you need and they do it with a warm and welcoming style that makes you feel like you are around old friends. The grounds are striking. An incredible pool, lush gardens... more
