I've stayed at hotel Airone several different times as I often have to travel to Grosseto on business. The hotel is conveniently located, not far from the Autostrada, on the road to Siena just a few minutes from the walls of Grosseto. The rooms are spartan, but at the same time tidy and comfortable. There are lots of wall sockets... More

This hotel ticks most of the checkboxes for a business traveler. Rooms are clean and a good size, bed is comfortable, free wifi is available throughout the hotel, hot shower that works, restaurant, bar and a reasonable breakfast. It's centrally located in Grosseto and an easy walk to the old section of town. Price is also very reasonable.

Rooms are large. Windows cut noise quite well. floor is laminate, and in the morning one can hear some noise from the floor above. Location: it's not in the old town, but within walking distance. Also within walking distance from the train station. In summary, given the price, the place is quite reasonable. Just remember, Italian four star is not... More

Nice hotel, pretty close to town centre, close enough to walk. The hotel itself has a ok lobby area, the rooms are not that big, but it is ok and clean. But it is probably the best hotel in town. The town of Grosseto is a ok town in the middle of the beatiful Tuscany, home of the best wine... More

We stopped here for a night before heading to Rome, and needed somewhere reasonably close (within 15 mins walk) to the train station. Room was large, clean and comfortable and well maintained (we were upgraded to the deluxe). The staff we had the pleasure of dealing with were helpful, friendly and very attentive. The old part of town is a... More

I stayed at Grosetto with a very good friend for four days on a business trip. We loved it! This hotel has the facilities and professionalism of a major national chain - yet it also offers the sincere personal customer service from which the major chains are so sorely lacking. The best thing about this hotel is the staff; as... More

The staff was helpful and always friendly. They were a saving grace for this hotel. It was clean and felt like it was trying to be a nice hotel although in grosseto I think it was the nicest hotel around. Spa is extra money we went to the pool and left after finding that it was not clean. there were... More

I have stayed at this hotel many times during the last 5 years and have also experienced great hospitality. Location is great and breakfast too. There is a new part to the hotel which is great. Ask for a room in the new part away from the street if possible !

It's a true oasis of peace and relax in the Maremma Toscana. Comfort all around, spacious & clean rooms, excellent food, exquisite smiling and caring staff, warm "centro benessere" are only some of the reasons that make the Hotel Airone unforgettable. So close to Etruscan sites, not far away from the sea, conveniently posted between Rome and Florence, it's ideal... More
