June 2014 First time in Grado. Four adults rented a car in Venice and drove to Grado. The town was really very pleasant, with a lot of effort into renovation of their "downtown". The Hotel was modern and attractive, The staff were excellent in their efforts to be helpful. The rooms were clean and up-to-date, with a clean, large balcony... More

We returned last night from a 5 day stay at this hotel and are already talking about visiting again. The suite was huge and perfectly clean with an amazing balcony. The pool although cold was amazing, such a lovely novelty being able to sunbathe and swim on the hotel roof. We only ate breakfast at the hotel which was fine,... More

My wife and 2 years old child spent a great 3 day leisure in Grado. For hotel 3* we expected 3* service. But on the end I can asure that hotel deserves at least 4* On check in they told us junior suites are no longer available and that they can offer us better suites with no extra charge. This was... More

I only stayed for a dinner so I cannot rate the hotel rooms. The restaurant location is great, the best view on Grado – both old town and sea views from the terrace area with swimming pool, it certainly grants the wow effect as you exit the elevator at top floor. Restaurant is average, it seems they try hard, fresh... More

The location is simply perfect. The view from the terrace at the top floor is breathtaking. The hotel is modern with parking and spa. But the overall score is 3 out of 5. Why? 1. Breakfast buffet is barely acceptable and the staff serving at the tables can have at times annoying behavior (e.g. shouting, not reactive). Definitely a lot... More

The hotel has a beautiful terrace with a small swimming pool overlooking the town and the sea. Unfortunately the furniture in the room is very new but poor, the breakfast is disappointing, and each bathroom has an indipendent boiler, allowing no more than one shower with warm water. And room cleaning is far from perfect. Internet in room available only... More

Me and my boyfriend wanted a romantic place and a good hotel with a swimming pool for our vacation. And Fonzari hotel was the perfect hotel!! Everything was soo much better then we expected. The food was delicious and the service was also good. The view was amazing! And on the evening a man played on the piano while we... More

There appears to have been a complete staff overhaul and the once friendly helpful staff have been replaced with what I found to be, uncaring, unhelpful, slightly arrogant staff. One of them actually pulled a face and demanded to know how many people were staying in my room when i asked for extra pillows. The rooms have not been touched... More

Our room was clean, large, and had a nice balcony with chairs to sunbake on. One of the air conditioners didn't work very well, which was unfortunate since it was very humid. Also, the pool on the roof is really small. Staff were friendly and helpful. Internet access was extremely limited (one PC in the lobby, no WiFi). Great location.

We stayed here in June and were so impressed with the Hotel and its staff that we booked 7 rooms and returned with friends. Without exception all of us were very impressed with the spaciousness , cleanliness, and superb central location --10 minutes walk to the old town ,2 beaches , Port , Marina and shops, bars and restaurants.
