Upon arrival we were met by friendly owners, Alexander and Virginia, who’s dedicated service is part of the charm that you can only find in family-owned and operated hotels. We were delighted to encounter such a nice and warm approach to clients. They are delightful people who were exceptionally helpful and responsive. Besides this genuine hospitality, hotel provides comfortable rooms,... More

The hotel is located very close from the beach(10 minutes walking) in a very quiet zone of Giardini Naxos..The rooms are very spacios and clean, some of them with a great view of the Etna volcano(especially at night)..The hotel staff are very caring and friendly. It's perfect for couples,... More

The Alexander hotel was a good choice for our short and spontaneous stopover in Giardini Naxos. The room was extremely clean and the people at the reception were helpful and friendly. The hotel is situated very close to the beach and many restaurants. We could also use the free, gated parking. Breakfast was meager, but that's the way it is... More

My husband and I were in Sicily this summer and we stayed at the Alexander hotel for seven nights. Immediately I have to say that I read all the reviews on this site that are sent to the hotel (good and bad), so I thought I knew what I should expect. However, the hotel surprised me in a positive way,... More

To be sincere we booked this hotel because of its budget price, we dont ever look for fancy hotels but a place to sleep over, just to be again in Sicily and rather spend our money on food and trips around the island. We came to Alexander and found a trully beautiful hotel!!! All renovated, clean, beautiful garden, lobby, breakfast... More

It is a simple, familiar hotel that has everything you like: spacious and clean rooms, short distance to the beach (5min), parking inside the hotel...etc The owners are extremely nice and they look for your well being, giving you tips about the area and providing free beach umbrellas if needed. We felt treated like one more of the family, and... More

Me and my boyfriend stayed in Hotel Alexander for one week in July. We got a small room with three beds, bathroom and a balcony which is always a plus although the view wasn't so great. The room was very neat. The cleaning was in fact so thorough, that the cleaners used to organize our stuff on the tables and... More

I really recommend this hotel. Great location, near the beach, near the bus station to Taormina (15min by bus), close to restaurants. The staff is very, very friendly and helpful, especially Virginia. THANK YOU for your huge help. The rooms are very comfortable and have excellent views of Taormina and Castelmolla. Breakfast is quite good for a three-star hotel. Wifi... More

We had a great time there, we are pleased with the service, room, cleanliness and very friendly staff. The beach is not far, it is also close to the bus station where you can catch a bus and go to Taormina, which we recommend. :) The hotel is located in a quiet part of Giardini Naxos. Nearby you have a... More

Myself and three other ladies spent a week in Hotel Alexander in June. If you want peace and quiet this is the place to be. Our two rooms on the 3rd floor were very spacious with large balconies. Rooms were spotless with towels and bed linen changed frequently. Breakfast buffet was pretty basic but everyone had plenty to eat. This... More
