Set beside the lake in Gardonne, amazing views, surrounded in beautiful gardens - a really great find. Set in an old property that has been renovated to a modern but regal style. View from our lakeside view room was amazing, could sit on that balcony for hours. Fantastic breakfast, great restaurants where the chef would come out to meet the... More

Beautiful setting on the lake. A magnificent garden. A totally renovated swimming pool together with on of the largest spa and indoor pool I have been to. A fantastic restaurant under a huge magnolia in the garden, with local and international delicacies. A short drive away from the historical point of Garda and from the other beautiful spots like Salo,... More

We have just returned from our third visit to the Grand Hotel Fasano. Whilst the hotel is still as lovely as ever, an old and nostalgic lakeside property refurbished to offer modern day facilities and a fabulous Aveda Spa, there was something not quite right this time. It's the little things, the things that one would expect from a 5... More

We had a wonderful stay here. The hotel is situated right on the banks of Lake Garda, surrounded by acres of well tended private garden. An idyllic & peaceful setting. Built in the later 19th Century, it is a majestic property which evokes images of a bygone era though a recent refurb means it is also modern & pristine. Our... More

We just spent a brief weekend at GHF and loved every minute of it. Firstly the setting is absolutely second to none, right on the banks of the lake with stunning gardens surrounding the entire hotel. Not to be missed is the restaurant in the garden, set underneath an enormous tree where we experienced a truly memorable meal with some... More

We spent 6 nights here at the end of June and thought the hotel was fantastic. We stayed in a room in Villa Principe which is a smaller building right next to the main hotel. Our room was very spacious, comfortable, clean and beautifully decorated. All staff were very attentive and helpful. The pool and sunbed area was vast with... More

We stayed for almost a week in this hotel. To summarize: if you do not like this hotel, you will not like it anywhere. Surely this is one of the nicest hotels on the Garda lake and very recommendable. The hotel has been renovated and features tastefully refurbished, big rooms. Bathrooms are not vey big but more than adequate. Preferably... More

We were blown away by our memorable stay here. It is expensive but I would personally rather pay that bit more for a unique & exceptional hotel, which this is, rather than something generic. It is only a 20 minute walk from the centre of town where there is a wide variety of restaurants. My only constructive criticisms would be... More

What a shame. This place could be fantastic if they had the right people running it. The hotel grounds are so beautiful - like out of a hollywood movie. The large terrace, facing the wonderful lake, as well as the lobby, is very elegant. The problem is that half the staff is down right rude. The first night (June 2014)... More
