An old hotel, 4 stars, in the west side of the lake Garda, finds out excellent, with parking across the street, comfort and impeccable service, all very neat, you are in the 40th years. With Churchill. A beautiful pool, but, the hottest deck on the lake, where you in a chaise long, see the water and the fish beneath you,... More

This is really the place to stay if you are visiting the west side of the Garda lake. Gardone city and the Hotel is filled with history. The Hotel has an outstanding location directly by the lake, with private garden, pier and swimmingpool. All the rooms have balcony by the lake with a great wiev. I really recommend this and... More

Wonderful family owned hotel, excellent food and service, having dinner and breakfast at the side of the lake is just an amazing experience.Winnies bar is quite expensive but use it at happy hour before dinner, then drink elsewhere but return for the music later.Massimo is an excellent bar manager

Hotel and setting a wonderfully peaceful base for exploring Lake Garda. Massimo and the boys at Winnie's Bar made every sunset a special treat: excellent service and attention to detail. The only minor quibble is that some of the steps into the lake have rough edges and I grazed my leg getting out when conditions were a bit choppy. A... More

We stayed recently and thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff were great, the hotel clean and upscale. The room we stayed in was updated as i guess all the rooms are, and it was absolutely great. The breakfast was awesome with lakeside/outside tables. Again the staff were great. You can always comment on the price, but if you are staying at... More

We have just spent a week here and were delighted with everything, food was excellent and very plentiful, staff most helpful and cheerful especially with some guests who needed help. There is a lot of old fashioned charm and elegance in the hotel and very well kept gardens. There are plenty of rooms to relax should the weather be bad.... More

Stayed here for five nights in Oct. hotel is full of character, plenty of old features and old furniture in the public area, don't read old as neglected as it was all in fine condition. Room overlooking the lack was well appointed and very good, with a very large bathroom nothing tacky at all here. Food was very very good... More

This charming and old fashioned hotel in the grand style is a perfect place to stay if you want to relax in comfort with wonderful views, attentive staff and comfortable rooms overlooking the lake. It is a perfect place to embark on a ferry trip to towns on the lake. The breakfasts offered a very varied selection plus a chef... More

We love The Grand and will definitely be returning. This was our second stay and we would thoroughly recommend it for a peaceful and restorative holiday. Other reviews remark on it being "tired". I would say that we have stayed in much more tired and dated hotels than this one! Yes, it is an old building and some of the... More

My wife and I stayed for a week in June, first time there, and I can honestly say it was one of those holidays from which we did not want to come home. The location was excellent although Gardone itself is very small and there is not much outside the hotel although larger towns are a bus ride away or... More
