Recently spent a week in this hotel. For a quiet relaxing holiday this hotel and location will be hard to beat. Rooms were spacious and immaculate, the staff especially the receptionists were friendly and helpful. 4 Star hotel with 5 star service, in magical location, totally cosseting, and we are a terribly fussy couple and yet we can't fault the whole concept. definately returning and has a big time recommendation. We stayed at the hotel with a group from Great Rail Journeys in July. The hotel certainly is grand in the old style, our room 130 had fabulous views over the lake. The highlight for us was breakfast on the terrace every morning, the sun twinkling on the lake. Food was excellent, served quickly but inobtrusively. We will definately return. more
