This was ourr 2nd time staying at this fantastic hotel (June 2015) just minutes from all the bustle & bustle that is Garda. All the hotel facilities are excellent and the pool and veranda are extremely well maintained. The staff are very helpful, especially Miro the head waiter who organised a special meal in the grounds for our wedding anniversary.... More

An excellent place; it's hard to find anything to criticise about the hotel, pool, or the facilities (except maybe the awful hairdryer in our bathroom: allow at least half an hour extra to dry even mid-length hair if you forget to bring your own!) BUT the system for charging bar drinks and food to your room is chaotic. You sign... More

We stayed here in April with my parents-in-law. They have frequently returned to Lake Garda and this is definitely their favourite place to stay. Lovely staff, perfect location (just a short stroll and you're at the lakeside), comfortable rooms with lake view and generous and beautifully served food. Special thanks to head waiter Miro for looking after us so kindly.

Apologies to Villa Madrina for not having posted this review sooner. Our stay was late September early October. It was so easy to slip back into routine and not make the effort but it would be wrong not to congratulate the staff who contributed much to a lovely week at Lake Garda. Out timing was in part because of the... More

First time that we'd visited Italy. Love Garda and the hotel was a few minutes away from the lakeside. The hotel was peaceful, friendly and the food was just perfect. Spent a few days visiting towns and villages by ferry. Everywhere had a different feel and we hope to go back next year to visit places that we missed and... More

This may not be the plushish or the most flamboyant hotel we have ever stayed in but in terms of customer service and attention to detail it is punching well above it's weight. All the staff in this family run hotel go out of their way to make you feel welcome especially Miro the restaurant manager. We stayed HB for... More

We stayed 5 nights B&B the hotel is in a good location just minutes from the centre and the ferry terminal yet it feels quite peaceful. The pool and lounge area are well kept ( the sun beds could be more comfortable) The breakfast was continental but with a good choice and with fresh fruit. The majority of staff were... More

We stayed at Hotel Madrina for 8 nights in August on a B&B basis. The hotel is very well situated with only a 5 minute walk in to Garda. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We ate in the restaurant a couple of times and were very impressed, although I think it would be a shame to not experience the... More

What a find! This small family run hotel is excellent - great location, very friendly staff, lovely food a really stylish, elegant hotel. We found this hotel using Trip Advisor and it certainly lived up to expectations. We stayed in a Hibiscus Suite which gave the two of us lots of space ( including 2 wardrobes) and we especially liked... More

This hotel is magnificently placed above Lake Garda. Although not on the lake side, every bedroom has its own private balcony with a lake view because of the slope of the hillside. There is no need to worry about the hill because there is a free local bus with a stop just outside the hotel. We managed easily despite having... More
