We stayed at Villa Madrina on a B&B basis in August 2014. We can not speak highly enough of the service we experienced. The staff were very warm & welcoming. The rooms were cleaned daily & fresh towels every day with turn down service each evening. We thought there was a good range to choose from at breakfast time &... More

Stayed half board through Inghams as B&B unavailable but very pleased we did as we got to try lots of different Italian food. Excellent service and great staff. Everywhere spotless. Clean towels every day. Beds very comfortable. Top floor very quiet but those rooms have shower but not bath. Great location only 10 mins walk from lakeside cafés or steamer... More

Villa Madrina has all the key components we look for in a hotel: Location is great just outside the town centre making it quiet despite the centre being only down the road (3 min walk) A good restaurant (served some of the best food be had) and a pleasant terrace for drinks Clean and comfortable rooms with modern (if not... This was our second visit in five years. The hotel is still the best in Garda. On our previous visit we had a ground floor room with a terrace and did not notice the lack of sound proofing as much as we did on this visit with a second floor room. Our first visit was before the addition of another... More

Just about to head home after a wonderful stay at hotel villa madrina. We stayed here for 5 nights breakfast & dinner. All the staff work incredibly hard. Miro and the girls are friendly and helpful. The food was delicious every night and you had good choices. The rooms were comfortable and all looked like they have balconies. My only... More

We spent a wonderful week at Villa Madrina in June 2014. The hotel is perfectly located within 5 minutes walk of the ferry terminal. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful with Miro and the girls looking after everyone in the dining room where the food was excellent. There was a very relaxed atmosphere but very efficient. Nothing was... More

Spent 7 nights in June in Suite Hibiscus with a balcony+sun terrace + lake and pool view. The room was very good , pool was super. We ate in the hotel two nights from the a la carte menu and the food was excellent , the pasta and tortellini was home made and was the best we sampled around the... More

Superb, luxurious family run hotel conveniently situated above the Ferry Terminal in Garda. Marvellous situation with beautiful gardens, large inviting pool and lovely views across the lake. Well appointed, good sized ground floor room with private patio met all our requirements. Food was excellent - buffet breakfast was superb. Staff were all exceptionally friendly and really added to the enjoyment... More

Our 2nd visit to this hotel ( early May 2014) Has about 20 deg .lake view but the rest is very pleasant with mountain/cliff distant view and plenty of greenery. Most rooms seem to face this with balconies/patios overlooking the very attractive pool. The rooms to the right( pool facing) ma have some traffic noise from the lane at peak times.... More

Hotel Madrina is a small family run hotel which offers accommodation over three floors. Furnished in an understated Italian rustic country style. The gardens are beautifully kept and the maintenance man was always to be seen doing something in the grounds. Nice pool and comfortable loungers. The views were just lovely and the staff friendly. Only minutes walk from the... More
