There is a certain strain of hotel in Italy which likes to not only play the glitz card, but use a card from somewhere around the mid 70s. This is one of them. No denying at all that it's a smart hotel and had really good staff - we put the barman through his paces for some time - but... More

This hotel is a disgrace. It has no idea what a five star luxury hotel should be. It is a max 3-4 stars as previous comments have agreed. We stayed for one week in July with our 2 year old son. Our bedroom for 800 euros a night was average with no view and did not include breakfast or the... More

10 stay at the hotel July 2014. If you can ignore the prodigious price (and how that might calibrate to other high quality hotels) then the hotel was perfect in all respects. The staff were without exception attentive and friendly and in particular Sara who served us breakfast every day. The Royal Suite was large and bright (only slight criticism... More

Overall hotel is max 3-4 stars. The stuff has no idea what is a 5* hotel service. The Suite for €2000 is so so poor comparing to a Suite for €1300 at Four Seasons or villa d'Este in Como. Basically one can not understand what he paid for. Rooms are really max 2-3*. In Principe much better!!!! The hotel beach... More

fabulous 5 star hotel w friendly staff, great rooms with double sinks in the bathrooms and balconies, cute lobby bar area and fabulous little touches like their slippers by your bed at night and a goodnight cookie on your pillow. This place is in the heart of the city center with hundreds of restaurants and great shopping, 2 blocks to... More

The hotel is beautiful and very well located. The only thing to be improved is the gym that is not for a hotel of this level. Even seems located in a basement like a garage. The mattresses are very hard The staff are excellent. We deal with Sara and Christiano from the resturants. Valentino from the lobby and another girl... More

Stayed from Oct 14-16. Very good front office staff. Found toilets very unplanned. Specially the shower area. Very uncomfortable to use. Hotel would recommend to park car in valet. Don't need to spend €25 per night. Parking outside is FREE.

I went to this Private beach which belongs to the Grand Hotel Imperiale at the end of September, during the last few days of the season. The Minerva Beach was so relaxing. The staff was very kind and attentive. The beach club was supervised meaning that when the street sellers came too close to sell their counterfeit bags, a member... More

Stayed here with my partner on a business/pleasure trip. The hotel's own mini bus picked us up from the train station and from the start we were made very welcome. Check in was quick and easy and we were very pleased with our room, although the bath was a little mouldy beneath the marble surround. The hotel in general was... More

Pretty hotel but presidential suite was very, very small! Nice staff, beautiful pretentious town, but you will love it!! Great biking town! Swimming pool is 4 feet deep and expect to pay A lot for their beach club - that is not included!
