My husband & I have just returned from a two week stay in this very well run hotel. The grounds & pool are extremely well looked after, the staff are excellent, especially at the reception. Breakfast is wonderful and served on a covered outdoor terrace unless it rains when it moves inside. The rooms are exceptionally clean, comfortable & spacious.... More

Very nice hotel with a big garden. A separate playground area, perfect for smaller children. Good breakfast. Helpfull and friendly staff. Shuttle bus to beach and city centre. Notice that the beach access comes with an additional fee. Good restaurant at the beach, though a bit expensive.

There is a great monologue about Golf by Robin Williams which he starts off by saying, "If you want a linguistic adventure go drinking with a Scotsman!" Well if you want a Mediterranean food and wine adventure, with great service, lovely air conditioned rooms and bike rides to the private beach club, where the culinary experience continues, book yourself in... We stayed here as part of a larger family group with two boys aged 3 and 5 yrs, and were looked after very well indeed. Nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff, who were all highly attentive and very polite. We did half board and enjoyed the breakfast particularly, which was very high quality and diverse. Whenever... More

Excellent Hotel - calm, quiet location; spotless, comfortable room; superb, plentiful food; courteous, helpful staff. The only drawback was the price of drinks with no alternative at meal times to the expensive water and wine.

Spent 5 nights at the hotel at the beginning of September after my daughter's wedding in Tuscant. Whilst aware that the resort was an expensive one, as was the hotel, the accommodation was excellent. The staff made us feel very welcome, and nothing was too much trouble, from reception to the restaurant and Domenica in the bar. We ate in... More

The Hermitage is located a 10-minute walk back from the beach, on a very large property set amidst pines. Walking up to the hotel is like time-travel: everything dates back to the 60's and they have somehow resisted pressure to change anything. Yet the hotel is meticulously maintained. Rooms are comfortable, exceptionally clean, and most of them overlook the hotel's... More

Part of the Augustus hotel chain, Hermitage has kept the sixties look with a wonderful sense of nostalgia. Nevertheless for families like us with 5 kids , this is amongst the very little hotels offering apartments of 2 or three rooms. And most important of all the staff is alway Top ! From Rosario at the front desk, to Michele... More

We last stayed at The Hermitage 25 yrs ago, when our children were young. We loved it then, and had very happy memories of our holidays there. When we decided to go back this year (with friends, no children!) we were slightly nervous, as we really did not know what to expect after such a long time. We need not... More
