We stayed here for part of a tour of Italy so the hotel was chosen for us. There is a small driveway up to the hotel, with a garden opposite, and some seating outside for drinks in the evening, but the exterior of the building belies the very pleasant reception/lounge area inside. The staff on reception and at the bar... More

Hotel is located in the middle of Fuiggi in it's own private garden. It is a spa hotel with a new spa centre built in the basement - it costs to get in! The reception area is quite vast and with that and the front verandah there are plenty of places to sit. The best Wifi is here ( I... More

We stayed with a Saga group, the staff were offhand and surly, the food was pretty dreadful in the restaurant. Things improved slightly when owner returned from a few days off, suddenly the staff started to smile and became more efficient. Room was pleasant, with a balcony which oddly overlooked the sunbathing area of the spa. Gardens were beautiful and... More

My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights with a large party of other Saga guests. Our room had a lovely large bath with shower on the side wall as well. The front reception staff were exceptional. However I have to say that a number of us found the female staff in the dining room at breakfast could be... More

stayed here on coach tour for 4 days. This is a spa hotel, but you have to pay to go in. Set in nice gardens central to shops etc. Supposed to have wifi in rooms as two routers outside the corridor on second floor, but unable to access it. Informed reception, but by the end of 4 days still no... More

This was our last hotel on our first trip to Italy and we were not disappointed. The reception area was large, airy and offered a plentiful choice of sofas and outside seating areas. The staff welcomed us and our cases were delivered quite quickly to the room. Our room was large, clean and had the luxury of a large bath... More

I recently stayed at Hotel San Giorgio, Fiuggi, Italy. When I first walked into the reception area/lounge which had large sofas and chandeliers I thought I was in for a treat. But, I was soon in for a shock when I went to my room number 216, it was tired, dated and dirty. Cramped bathroom, difficult to slide open shower... More

My wife and I did a 2-week tour of Italy “Top to toe” with Travelsphere, it was a coach tour staying at 5 different hotels. This was our third hotel, and was one of the better ones and we stayed here 3 nights. The room had a/c, a free safe, a hair dryer, and a TV. The hotel was quite... More

Another “Top to Toe Italy” Hotel and one that has clearly seen better days. The rooms are dark and dated and the radiator in our room was permanently on and never fixed (we had a problem with the shutters too but that was sorted for us!). The redeeming factor at the hotel was the evening meal where food and service... More

My wife and I stayed at this hotel as part of a “Top to Toe of Italy” holiday. I cannot comment on value, because the cost was included in the package. The hotel is in the spa resort of Fiuggi and not too far from Rome, so is a good base for touring. The Hotel San Giorgio is a pleasant... More
