Good location, on outskirts of the old town. Good recommendation offered for lunch by the host. Breakfast was average. Not a huge amount to say about the hotel, as nothing stood out as good or bad! Good value!

Hotel de Prati is just a step away from the castle and cathedral, the location could not be better. It'a small hotel, the owners are welcoming and helping you, particularly if you need parking instructions...The rooms, while not offering a significant view, are well appointed and comfortable. Breakfast is par for the course, neither exceptional nor poor. Very recommended

This is a great place to stay. The location is excellent, the manager is very helpful and friendly, the rooms are good and the breakfast is great. It's also very quiet, and there are interesting artworks throughout the hotel

Ferrara is just beautiful & absolutely deserving of its UNESCO World Heritage designation. Highly recommend for at least a day-trip visit but staying a bit longer is well worth your time. If you do stay, can't do much better than the Hotel De Prati for location, comfort & value. Hotel is located about 1 block from the Castle & about... More

We recently spent 3 nights here. The location was excellent, less than 5 minutes from the Castello. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was wonderful. The tea and coffee were freshly made to order. There was a good selection of things to choose including good quality fruit juice, fresh fruit salad, yoghurt, a good fruit bowl, muesli, croissants,... Our stay in Hotel De Prati was an unusual and wonderful experience not only because it was small and family run but because the walls were filled with original art work and every detail carefully planned. They gladly answered our questions we were eager to help in any way. The room was clean, comfortable, and surprisingly quiet considering we were... More

Central location, literally few steps from Castello Estense, street parking for a symbolic price (3 Euro), clean and quiet room, excellent coffee - what else do you need? The staff is friendly and helpful. Certainly recommended.

I asked one of the sisters who owns the hotel, "What does Prati mean?" She laughed, and responded that it is a shortened version of the family name. She said that her grandmother was an excellent cook, and operated a restaurant there during World War II. Unfortunately, she died while on her way to a bomb shelter in 1944. She... More

We were here in July and have just been back in October. Where else would you go in Ferrara? Perfect location for the major museums and sights, knowledgeable and highly competent and helpful staff, exuberant breakfast, good wifi... They have it all.
