We stayed here for 2 nights in the middle of June 2015.The hotel is two mintues from the historical center of the city. There is parking in a garge near by 5 mintues from the hotel. You have to take care with the car because it is strictly forbidden for unautorized people to drive in the historical center of town.In our... More

Located in a side street, in a pedestrianised area, not far from the Cathedral square, this hotel offers a clean, quiet and comfortable stay. The building is old and has great character. My only reservation was a lack of electricity sockets (for charging mobile phones etc). We were able to unload the car by the hotel and then park in... More

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights, we found it to be very central, very clean, warm friendly hotel. Breakfast was an excellent choice with fresh coffee. The room was on the first floor and was very spacious, comfy bed and nice furnishings. Bathroom had a shower and bath and was was of a very good... More

This hotel has the most incredible service that any travellers can ask for! My friend and I stayed there for a night to explore Ferrara late August. I left an important document inside the safe of our room in the morning when we checked out and didn't realize it till 2 or 3 days later. By that time, I was... More

The Hotel Corte Estense could not be in a better location for exploring the delightful and surprising city of Ferrara. Nestled away in a quiet street just a two-minute walk from the cathedral and D'Este castle, this hotel is welcoming, bright, and clean. Our room had a walk-in closet and a big, clean bathroom with a huge (opaque) window. The... More

Very nice hotel only a 2 minute walk from the town centre and the castle. Secure parking is available a short walk away for an extra 10 or 20 euros a day (I cant remember which). Breakfast is very nice and the staff are friendly and helpful. Very good value for money.

A few steps from the main sights of the city lies this cozy hotel. Still quiet environment, very tastefully decorated rooms, helpful and delicious staff. Staying at this hotel will be enhanced by a strong feeling of Ferrara, from its Renaissance palaces and churches. Definitely want to go back there!

Hotel Corte Estense is located in the center of the main attraction of Ferrara. The name of the hotel implies the good lord Estense whom ruled this "New York" of Italy in the 14th or 15th century. Hotel is located just inside the wall (there is no wall today) at the market square and the very old municipal building/square along... More

My husband and I recently spent a night at the Corte Estense and were exceptionally pleased. We arrived in a car and found the hotel easily in a small street right off the main artery to the Duomo square. Greeted in English, we unloaded the car and then were directed to the hotel parking garage about 200 meters away. The... More

Catch the 11 bus to just past the castel. Good location but Ferrara is boring! It is not a place for visitors. Only 2/30 attractions and churches marked on the tourist map were open on a Thursday (not a public holiday either). The staff don't speak any English but that doesn't matter, just be prepared. Ok breakfast, good shower. Holes... More
