I stayed for 5 nights on business. The hotel is easy to find and is very close to the castle, infact everything to see is less than 5 minutes walk away. You can get a shuttle bus that runs 3-4 times a day from Bologna airport and drops you right outside the hotel. They do have a car park but... More

This hotel is okay, not great but okay. Rooms are little outdated but clean and good in size. Hotel staff is very friendly and speak okay english. Breakfast is incl with waitered options of different kinda coffees. Location is good within the city, everything is walking distance away. Across the street there's a little grocery store. But... you can hear... More

A good hotel very close to the Castle - only about 50 metres away. We stayed on the top floor at the Castle end getting views of the Castle and front main street. Close to Cathedral Square and restaurants nearby. Rooms small to average size but clean, the shower door is a bit small, curtains could do with replacement-had some... More

Next to the castello Estense, in the middle of historical center. 15min on foot from train station. The room was very big and very-very quite. Staff, we're very helpful, English French and German speaking,, very friendly. The breakfast has a variety but based in sweets, cakes and not American! But, everything is more than enough!!! I strongly recommend the Italian... More

A great place, in a great city! Would strongly recommend it! Location: About 15 minutes walk from the train station, and right in the middle of centro storico Couldn't be better! It' right next to the Castello Estense. Airport shuttle bus to Bologna airport leaves just outside to hotel. Room: We had a very spacious room, with a small hall... More

This hotel is located right next to the Castello Estense and is easy to reach by car. Private parking is available at a small extra cost. My room was big enough, with a decent bathroom. Staff were very helpful and English speaking. There is no restaurant, but that is not a problem as Ferrara has many good and affordable restaurants.

After eight B&Bs it was our first and last classic hotel on Italy trip. Chosen because of perfect location, but hotel offered more as we expected, and all for really perfect price. Despite hotel location directly in centre, you can park your car for good price or in small hotel parking, either in short distance in garage, all with helpful... More

We arrived from Bologna airport on the shuttle bus, which stopped 20 yards from the hotel...brilliant! Reception staff were friendly and helpful, room bright and comfortable. Breakfast was what we expected - plenty of coffee, fresh bread, cereals, yoghurt, cakes, pastries, cheese, cold meats, jams, fruit and juice. Everything spotlessly clean and more comfortable and spacious than many 4 star... More

Location is the best thing about this hotel. It's located across an old castle, few minutes from the main square. Rooms are clean, the staff is great. They have great breakfast. Hotel has some nice old spirit, like Ferrara it's self.

Stayed here on a overnight business trip, got a very good B&B rate, nice hotel, decor a little dated but friendly staff and very well located close to the castle. The breakfast in the morning was excellent, their sweet pastries were almost too good (and very bad for the waistline). There is parking in the basement, very confined space though.
