A great place, in a great city! Would strongly recommend it! Location: About 15 minutes walk from the train station, and right in the middle of centro storico Couldn't be better! It' right next to the Castello Estense. Airport shuttle bus to Bologna airport leaves just outside to hotel. Room: We had a very spacious room, with a small hall... More

This hotel is located right next to the Castello Estense and is easy to reach by car. Private parking is available at a small extra cost. My room was big enough, with a decent bathroom. Staff were very helpful and English speaking. There is no restaurant, but that is not a problem as Ferrara has many good and affordable restaurants.

After eight B&Bs it was our first and last classic hotel on Italy trip. Chosen because of perfect location, but hotel offered more as we expected, and all for really perfect price. Despite hotel location directly in centre, you can park your car for good price or in small hotel parking, either in short distance in garage, all with helpful... More

We arrived from Bologna airport on the shuttle bus, which stopped 20 yards from the hotel...brilliant! Reception staff were friendly and helpful, room bright and comfortable. Breakfast was what we expected - plenty of coffee, fresh bread, cereals, yoghurt, cakes, pastries, cheese, cold meats, jams, fruit and juice. Everything spotlessly clean and more comfortable and spacious than many 4 star... More

Location is the best thing about this hotel. It's located across an old castle, few minutes from the main square. Rooms are clean, the staff is great. They have great breakfast. Hotel has some nice old spirit, like Ferrara it's self.

Stayed here on a overnight business trip, got a very good B&B rate, nice hotel, decor a little dated but friendly staff and very well located close to the castle. The breakfast in the morning was excellent, their sweet pastries were almost too good (and very bad for the waistline). There is parking in the basement, very confined space though.

I stayed in Touring for the third time. Generally I was really satisfied with the service. Maybe the price should be a little bit lower. Had problems with the connection on the internet (maybe I had problems with my pc) because I couldn't connect to internet in the room. The breakfast improved from the last time I stayed there. A... Located centrally this older hotel is immaculately clean and comfortable. All of the staff were great. The decor dates the place but don't be put off by it. Breakfast had a good selection including great cakes. The only downside a lack of sound insulation between rooms, nothing terrible but the neighbours were enjoying the football.

We spent 7 nights in this wonderful hotel. Excellent and professional staff, lovely room with great views, good breakfast. Superb location which brilliantly complimented our very positive trip to Ferrara, "Florence without the tourists".

Spent a great few nights here recently. I would definitely recommend this hotel. Although travelling alone, I felt very safe in this hotel. I found staff very helpful. My room was ideal. It was very spacious and breakfast was great. They have a small buffet style breakfast but there is everything you need - fruit, cereal bread, small delicious cakes,... More
