My husband and I stayed for a week in Suite no. 2. This is a small inn with 6 apartments located within the old walls of Ferrara. It is a cross between a B&B and self catering. Breakfast is offered for a small extra fee if you want it and the owners are always available. The owners and service in... More

The host had written a lot to me well ahead of our arrival, making sure of everything...upon arrival we were met warmly and informd of anything necessary...the rooms were unexpectedly spacious and comfortable. Though the exterior is quite plain and unnoticeable, getting in and staying is quite an experience. Thumbs up! And the breakfast is excellent too, the homemade style.... More

Highly recommended. Very nice, spacious, comfortable and clean room/apartment, fully furnished and equiped with all that it is needed for a very pleasant stay. Within 30 mins. on foot from the city center. The service is outstanding, very friendly environment (the owner also speaks English), and the selection of cakes for breakfast is amazing! The neighborhood is quiet, and the... More

Just perfect hospitality, excellent location, spacious apartment, clean, cozy, beautiful classic Italian deco and a general feeling that you are staying at your dear friend's. Breakfast exceeds the usual Italian sugar-only meal. Loooooved Torta di Ferrara with strawberries :) The city and its surroundings are made for long bike rides, which you can also get in this B&B. We are... More

Great place with an authentic sense of Italy! The owners Ruggero and his wife are very kind, dedicated and always there in need of help. Purity is on a perfect level. Bicycles are free and one of the best cupcakes for breakfast are served there :)

This wasn't our first choice of places to stay in Ferrara, but I'm so glad we ended up here. This B&B is just amazing. The we had a two room suite as we were traveling with our son. The beds were oh so comfortable and there were not one but two air-conditioners that we cherished after two weeks of 95F... More

Nice building, full of character, just a couple of blocks away from ferrara main monuments... The owners are very kind and dedicated. I will sure choose this solution again if I'll ever come back to this astounding city

Our stay in this guest house was perfect! After wandering around the beautiful historic town of Ferrara there was nothing better than walking back to this gorgeous establishment, itself steeped in history. Furnished in beautifully restored genuine nineteenth century furniture, the spotless rooms are spacious, comfortable, elegant and simply pull you in so you feel like you're right at home.... More

I wish that Trip Advisor permitted a 6-Star rating, because this hotel merits it. In several years of Italian travel, we haven't stayed in more comfortable, well-maintained and well-appointed rooms. The real reason to park your luggage here, however, is the owner. Ruggiero, quite simply, is one of the most engaging people we ever have met. His English is near-perfect,... More

Decided to head 'off the beaten path' and spend a couple of days in Ferarra as a kickoff for our weeklong Italy tour.....Booked Piazza Nova Guest House based on TripAdvisor reviews.....The Guest House and hosts exceeded all of our expectations.....Ruggiero was a great host, recommended places to go (and stay away from) and met us on our arrival. We stayed... More
