Thank goodness I listened to the majority of reviewers on Suite Duomo! I saw two reviews badmouthing this hotel, but I can only imagine these two folks are unhappy anywhere. Suite Duomo was the best deal I had during my stay in Italy - a number one in my book. The views were incredible, the rooms were huge, modern and... more

Our travel agent booked this hotel for us. The hotel was very nice. We were accommodated at an apartment just up the road from reception. Although we would have liked to have stayed overlooking the piazza (bit of a mix up with our travel agent's booking). Very comfortable, large room for Italy, modern and clean. No lift however in the... more

Nasty management, no one to help with luggage, parking blocks away at an unsecured public lot, noisy room, dim lighting, room less than depicted on the website - need I say more?? We left after one night - rather dispute charge with credit card company than stay. more

Normally we do not answer to the reviews of the web sites because we think the guest is always right and we try to do our best to improve our services for them but in this case we think to be obliged to make everything clear on this event. The guest booked an apartment in our hotel (the "apartment" formula...

We spent one night at the Suite Duomo during a quick stop in Ferrara. We booked it mainly because of the positive reviews from fellow travelers and we were not disappointed. The location was exceptional, the room was very spacious modern and clean (we had the "Giorgio Bassani" room) and included a kitchenette, the staff was friendly and the price... more

We stayed here in late july and would recommend it. It's not big on cute , historical charm , but as a base to use in Ferrara it is very good. The room we had was huge , laid out in a very "american" way with loads of space and a mini kitchenette so you could store cold items etc.... more

I booked a room at the Suite Duomo for just one night as I was going to Ferrara for a concert. The hotel was easy to find, very clean and staff was kind. My room (#806) was spacious, had twin beds, a kitchenette (cooker, fridge, sink, some pans, plates and cutlery) "hidden" in a cupboard, a small table with two... more

Suite Duomo was a pleasant surprise. We were a little nervous at first when we found out it was above a "McDonalds", but the proximity to a chain restaurant did not deterr from our stay at all. The suites had all the amenities a traveller needs, plus, we had a wonderful view of the square. The staff were exceptional and... more

I am an fine artist and have a high level of appreciation for beautiful surroundings and environments of historic value as well as modern cutting edge creations; I found an great example of this at the Suite Duomo. The hotel sits in the heart... more

We found the Suite Duomo a great place to be in Ferrara. There is no driving permitted in the town; however you may proceed to the hotel and are given ample time to check the room, register and get the luggage stowed. Parking is a cinch...in a public town maintained lot a block from the hotel..a few euros for 24... more

This hotel has the basics, but that's it: clean linens and clean rooms. It also has a fabulous location. If that's what you seek, stay here. But if you're interested in learning more about the charms of Ferrara, the best local restaurants, and where to find the best art and hidden treasures, go somewhere where the owners will engage you... more
