My friend apologized for booking me into the Hotel Europa since it was not one of the best places in Ferrara. Once inside, I recognized the old world charm that makes the Hotel Europa something to enjoy. There is nothing fancy here but there is nothing out of place either. Breakfast was excellent with wonderful pastries. My room was comfortable... More

On excellent position for visiting city , walking distance to everything in centre. Breakfast is ok but concerning the price could be better. Normal clean rooms and small but private parking. Rooms ok, for the hotel in centre is overall ok although the price was a bit higher- 107e for 1 night for 1 guest.

old world Italian, at an affordable price. Great location, a real pleasure. Stopped in Ferrera for an overnight and ended up taking a 3 day break. Great patisserie attached to the hotel. A real personal hotel, that fits in this wonderful town hand in glove.

The hotel is located on an easy to find major street, very close to the medieval centre of town with the castle, church and palazzo dei diamanti. The hotel itself is a classic italian mansion,,with lots of old world atmoshere. it has a beautifull lobby area, breakfast room, bar and small secluded patio garden. Front rooms large and decorated in... More

A fractious journey taking over 9 hours instead of 4.5 hours didn't help our mood when we arrived. Despite being advised that one of us had mobility difficulties we were put in the farthest room from the lift. The hotel does have 'old world' charm though. The rooms are clean and functional if a little tired. The hotel is central... More

Stranded near Ferrara with a damaged front brake and the weekend approaching I was looking forward to a boring waiting time filled with thoughts of revenge - my mechanic checking the car the day before, Jeep now proving that they are really a member of Fiat Group, a.s.o. But, on the contrary the combined efforts of ACI and OEAMTC booked... More

English speaking friendly staff, parking, easy to find via GPS - what a great find! The bakery next door has an amazing selection of pastries and does tea in a proper tea pot. All you could want for an impromptu stay in Ferrara.

I've spent a weekend in Hotel Europa during a business trip. The hotel lies along one of the town's main streets, easily reachable by bus and by car (and with a 15 min walk from the train station, too). The historic center and the castle of Ferrara are just across the street and Palazzo dei Diamanti is almost round the... More
