I got a single room that was very modern and chic. Wifi worked wonderfully, breakfast was good (traditional Italian, with a coffee and a pastry. Not much in the selection of meats though). Staff was very friendly, location is right in the heart of the city, I'd go back.

+ Remarkably friendly staff members with good English skills, + Stylish, comfortable, super-clean and quiet room, + Perfect location right where most of Ferrara's attractions are to be found, o Breakfast alright but leaves room for improvement selection- and qualitywise.

This is really the place you want to be if visiting the charming Italian town of Ferrara. Location could not be better …it is in the historical pedestrian area of the city center a few steps from Ferrara medieval castle and Duomo. It is a small boutique hotel , an old building renovated and preserved with the old glamour. I... More

This is a clean and modern hotel in a great location in Ferrara. Very close to the Cathedral and walking distance to the Castello Estense, but also to the old medieval quarter and historical Jewish area with many local restaurants and nice clothing and houseware stores. The owners were professional and accomodating. The room was very cool and sleek, and... More

If you are looking for a quiet escape this is the hotel for you. Right in the centre of the old town . Very modern rooms but undoubtedly it is the owner who makes the visit worthwhile. He is a mine of helpful information and charming . Do go . The breakfast was so fresh , good fruits and seriously... More

We were looking at a number of hotels available in Ferrara and we are absolutely confident we made the best choice. As traveling with a baby demands easy access and certain flexibility the Hotel Nazionale really came trough. The rooms are really chick and fashionable. The cot was waiting in the room. They give you a magnetic key for the... More

In the very center of Ferrara, one of the most beautiful cities of Italy, even if not so renowned as Venice or Florence, close to the most interesting and historical places: the castle, the dome, the synagogue and to great restaurants and trattorias. It's of course in an historical building - this is no surprise in Italy - but throughly... More

Very nice hotel with an unusual level of attention to detail. We booked with the hotel directly, and had a good experience the whole way through - reservation - reception and the actual stay. The room was spot less and very nicely decorated. It's a hotel but still have a personal touch there - very pleasant. We asked for a... More

We stayed at the Nazionale for 3 nights in September. The modern interior in an old building was delightful. Each room is named for a city in Italy. We were in Firenze which was spotlessly clean, spacious, new bathroom and had a full size picture of David !!! The breakfast room was set up very nicely with help there for... More
