Go to Erice, stay at Pietre Antiche ! Charming town, host and accommodation. They are apartments right in the center of the wonderfully preserved old town high up on a hill overlooking the land and sea below. Stunning views from several promontories in town and on the drive up. The host and Massimo is from the town and it's obvious... More

Erice is sooo beautiful! don't miss! the host met us at the city entrance, helped us find a parking spot and carried our luggage to the room. the place is situated near the center and near some great places to eat. the room was great and spacious with a large bathroom and everything you may want.

It's hard to describe the whole experience at Erice, it's a very otherworldly place...even moreso at night when many people desert the town for accommodations in Trapani. Our one night at Pietre Antiche started with Mr. Hospitality - Massimo. He's a native of Erice, courteous, knowledgeable, chatty, charming. The apartment design and building restoration is brilliant, from the colour choices &... More

This review is based on a one night stay October 4th of this year for our honeymoon. First, I wish I could say we had stayed longer, but had to move on to see more places. Erice itself is one of the most amazing places in the world I have seen, so I had to put it on the list... More

Run by lovely people who will go out of their way for you. There is real charm to the apartments consisting of a bedroom, living area and bathroom. There is a small kitchen area too. Our problem was with the quality of the bed and pillows which made it impossible for us to sleep. The towels were also paper thin... More

From the moment you arrive in Erice, the incredibly gracious host Massimo arranges your parking permit, picks up your luggage and drives you to his charming , intimate hotel in the center of Erice. Massimo then gives you a map and advice about the town as well as a kitchen with all you need for your breakfast. He could not... More

We have stayed here for one week in July 2013. Erice was our base for western part of Sicily. It’s amazing small medieval town above the clouds, wonderful. You can enjoy fresh air here even when down the mount is extremely hot. It takes about 10 minutes to go up or down the mount. We stayed in Begonia. It is... More

Found this B&B via Tripadvisor. One has to park outside the small city, but the owner came to pick us up in his car. He speaks good English and was very helpul with tips about where to eat, what to see. The appartments are very nice and well equipped. The old stone walls kept the temperature down so even in... Erice is a photogenic medieval town. Our suite was spacious and well appointed. It is located near the town square. A furniture cupboard opens to reveal a small kitchenette. Provided is a basket of breakfast goodies and the ability to make tea and coffee. Free Parking is available off-site at the base of the town and the manager of the... More
