Erice is a very interesting ancient city, and these Appartimenti are in an ancient refurbished building. Each comfortable apartment has a small kitchen for light cooking. The enclosed courtyard and upstairs terrace were used by all the guests and we met people form many countries enjoying Erice. Our host met us when we got to town, led us to free... More

Lovely and very quiet(expect the church bell) apartment. very well refurbished medieval house. Massimo is very helpful and seems more like a friend then an host. There isn't a breakfast but you will find a basket of all essential food on your arrival which includes coffee milk and sweets. I am sure you will enjoy the stay. Definitely I recommend... More

Missimo was wonderful. A highlight was bumping into him at Mass on Sunday morning... Another was finding the only restaurant in town with no sign outside and a closed door. Was a hard place to feel like a "local," seems like the whole town is living on tourism.

A 4-apartment house in the middle of ancient Erice, spacious but cozy, well-appointed, spotless. The host unintrusively caters to your every need, from picking you up at the town entrance to showing you where to park gratis. For a fussy traveler like me, this was the perfect place to stay. And not only is Erice itself enchanting, atmospheric, and beautiful,... More

Massimo works hard to maintain this lovely B&B. We just spent two lovely nights in one of the four apartments. The apartment is furnished for all needs. It is beautifully decorated and comfortable. Massimo meets guests at the bus stop on arrival and helps likewise for departures. He is generous with his time, and offers tips for restaurants, sites. Highly... More

So glad we spent 2 nights in beautiful Erice in Max's charming apartments. We lucked out with weather and enjoyed spectacular views and wandering through the beautiful laneways getting lost. Max was a great host and it was reassuring to have him pick us up at the edge of town so we didn't have to ruin the rental car tryouts... More

Erice is a picturesque hilltop village with limited access by nonresident autos. It is a wonderful place to wander and take in the vistas. This B&B provides a centrally located base from which to explore. Massimo is a charming and helpful host. The ability to simply park your car in a secure lot and have him drive you to the... More

February is not the ideal time to visit Erice. The apartment is well heated and comfortable even when one has to stay indoors. Massimo the manager of Pietre Antiche is friendly and very helpful. An excellent place to stay

This is a truly wonderful little hotel that makes the whole Erice experience even better than expected. The apartments are incredible spacious, with a living room, a huge bathroom, a cozy bedroom and even a hidden kitchen behind a fake wardrobe. The bed was super comfortable and the rooms were all very clean. They don't serve breakfast, but still gave... More

We, 2 couples, were here for 2 nights in October. Erice is magical, and staying at Pietre Antiche makes it all the more so. What everyone says about Massimo is true -- he is a great host who makes the transition from that crazy drive up the hill (we took the hard way up) seamless. The apartments are huge and... More
