We stayed 4 nights and it was really a good experience. The house is independent but Andrea and Chika (hosts) are living in the house which is just in few meters so always could help you when need something. Andrea is a very open and warm person, he told us a lot of things about Sicily and his life experience-... More

For those looking for luxury, three course breakfasts and a swimming pool... move on. But for those looking for some rare authenticity: make sure you give Ostellino a try. I am not the first to recommend Andrea and Chika for their hospitality, but during all of my travels they are truly the first ones that took me and my friends... More

Andrea was a great host, very friendly and helpful. The location is perfect for exploring Trapani, Marsala, Erice and the surrounding countryside. The terrace overlooking Ostellino's wonderful gardens was our favourite place in Sicily to sit and relax, surrounded by Andrea's beautiful hand-made house and quirky collections of historical artifacts. We did not mind the "rustic" room, but did not... More

The hosts at Ostellino are kind and helpful. The fresh fruit and baked goods for breakfast are a nice treat and the farm is lovely. But be advised that the accomodations are very rustic - a bit more so than expected. One of the rooms (the Arabic room) does not have a window and this made the room very stuffy... More

Ostellino B&B offers a nice change from more traditional hotels. We stayed in a small house in a rustic and charming garden filled with olive trees, lemons, pomegranates, and persimmons. A trip to the supermarket gave us the chance to cook a few simple meals as if we were truly living in Sicily. This isn't the place for people who... More

We stayed with Andrea, our host, and his wife, Chica, for 3 nights. We found about Ostellino from the two previous recommenders on this site and we were delighted by our choice. LOCATION is very convenient: there is a beautiful vista over Trapani downhill (3km) while Erice reigns uphill(7 km). It makes a good base wherefrom to make one-day visits... More

Quiet house in the countryside. The rooms are simple and cosy. Andrea, the friendly owner, can help you reaching beautiful hidden places in the surrounding. Walking a bit on the path rising the hill you will see the wonderful landscape on Trapani and his islands. I cannot forget the beautiful dinners in the evening sitting outside in front the olive...
