A home away from home. The owners made us feel like a part of their family. A great location in a magical town. The staff was very helpful.I would stay in this hotel again when I visit Erice. We had great meal at the mount san guilliano restaurant. The sunset was amazing and the fish dishes were delicious.

lots of character, very friendly people and superb location. Erice is a beautiful chilled place to wander around in the evening and a great location for touring the area - the motorway is close and trips to Segesta, Palermo etc are very easy - it makes a lovely base to escape back to in the evening after a hot and... Great ambiance with old world charm in a renovated interior. The entire family is involved in creating a warm atmosphere. The location is best found by parking your car and walking to the hotel. A bit of an adventure through the narrow streets. Highly recommend!

We arrived in Erice after hours of driving and just as the evening fog was rolling in. It took us some time, and lots of nail biting to find Hotel San Domenico. The streets of Erice are about an inch wider than the car, and although I am an experienced New York City driver, my heart was pounding. None of... More

This hotel is right in the center of Erice, an old hotel that looks deceptive from the outside. You wouldn't guess that the rooms inside were all nicely designed and bathrooms so modern and spacious. Our host was fantastic, friendly and helpful with recommendations and fresh made cappuccinos in the morning, a inner courtyard to soak up the sun while... More

My family and I booked 3 rooms at this small, beautiful, family owned hotel in the historic center of Erice, and we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel and rooms seem recently updated, and the breakfast area was charming and well-stocked. We would highly recommend this hotel for anyone wishing to stay in Erice. One word of caution about... So glad we decided to stay at this lovely, family-owned & run property in Erice. In the family for generations, this house was converted into the quaint, well-appointed hotel you will find today. Your host, Rossella, is warm and welcoming, and does her best to make your stay as comfortable & enjoyable as possible. Although her English isn't very good,... More

Booked three rooms staying with friends and owner was arrogant when asked why one of the rooms didnt have a bidet in it. Only warm water in the morning for a shower. Heating turned off at night so was cold.

My husband and I stayed here for New Year's Eve and had such an amazing experience. The owner and her family treated us extremely well! We got to hang out with her entire family and then party with them in the town square which was a once in a lifetime experience. I felt like this was REAL Italy. The owner... More
