Chose this hotel as we wanted to be near Lake Como - it was a bit further away than we expected however this was the last of 3 hotels that we stayed in at the end of a 2 week holiday, and it was by far the best. The whole ambience of the hotel hit us the minute we arrived.... more

Have not stayed here, but was not impressed by customer service. Booked a room at c11am on monring, cancelled it less than 24hrs later (after client cancelled meeting) and they insist on charging full room rate. more

We have just returned from our 2 weeks in Italy and our 3 night stay here was excellent. The venue, staff, facilities and services were excellent and could not fault the hotel in any way. We chose this hotel based on the fact it was an old castle and looked very good. It did not disappoint in terms of character and quality, however the hotel staff were not very helpful and the hotel felt more like a business hotel rather than a place to base yourself for a holiday. more
