I stayed in Hotel Castello Di Casiglio for two nights in September 2014. My room was not in the main building the but on the top floor of the adjacent Villa Elena. The room was of average size, with sloping ceilings and unusual windows. The main window being a Velux roof window (which was quite high up), plus some smaller... More

Only stayed one night but no complaints. The room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was fine. Very nice location and not too expensive for a hotel of this standard. I'm sure I will stay here again.

Absolutely perfect luxury location for visiting the Monza F1 Grand Prix, less than 30min on SS36 gets you there. Hotel is a superb building and outside grounds and pool. Great big room and bathroom. A fantastic venue for a wedding and is used regularly by locals for this, 3 wedding receptions in two nights but had no effect on our... More

Threw a dart on trip advisor around Como and got lucky. We are a family of four with small children that needed a place to stop before moving on and had a great time. Clean room, great location of room, very pleasant and generous surroundings with lots of well kept green areas. Had a bite at the outdoor grill and... More

A pretty looking old country house that was converted into a hotel at some point. The grounds are pretty and they have a nice big swimming pool ( outdoors ) which we didnt use. The hotel is near to a town called Erba which is a waste of time visiting as there is nothing there apart from a rip off... More

What a great time we had, check in was smooth - be ready to surrender your passport!, we stayed in room 101 in the annex, room had a balcony and was clean. The hotel grounds were splendid! There were 2 weddings going on but they did not interfere with us. We did not use the restaurant, but if you go... More

Beautiful gardens, great food, comfortable beds and friendly staff ...what more could one want. Wanting to give my Australian travel friends an interesting and unforgettable overnight stay on the way north to Switzerland, this hotel fitted the bill perfectly.

I stayed in this hotel for one whole day. Even if the outside structure is really nice, rooms in many cases are poor and dark and also facilities lack. Moreover the staff was quite unpolite and rude. Being a 4 star hotel this is unacceptable. I would not suggest it.

We stayed four nights at the castello and where first overwhelmed from the garden and outside look. Impressive. Unfortunately the rooms had some little neighbors which keep us awake at night. No modern rooms, a little bit dusty. Good thing was the dinner was excellent and also the service it. Means a clear stop for dinner and sightsee the building.

After three amazing days in Hotel Splendid in Baveno we decided to go up and booked this so called castle for one night. We arrived and the area looked very poor...but then you see the castle with its gardwns from the outside and you are so impressed. Not for long...checked in and got room in the ettic with all the...
