This hotel is on the road into Cortina (only about a 4 minute drive to the centre of town ). We stayed just as the summer season was really starting in late June. We had a junior suite in the new wing which is connected to the old building. Our room was immaculately clean and modern with a balcony and... More

I would highly recommend this place. We were staying the second time in this hotel. The first time was 5 years ago and we loved it. It is located in a 5 min driving from the town center. Since last time hotel was renovated a great deal. Rooms are remodeled in a very good taste. The most impressive is a... More

I would highly recommend this Hotel, since it's great for all the skiers due to it's shuttle bus service and also for it's spa. The receptionists are extremely helpful and very friendly. Great choice of food and very well presented

Would not recommend this hotel to families. We had a large room on the last floor. Renovated, but in the old building. It is ridiculously dark, feels like living underground even on a sunny day. We tried to get out each morning as soon as possible, otherwise it gets depressing. The top shower does not work, it just floods the... More

Excellent smaller hotel with great spa, we stayed a group of us in this hotel for one week. Rooms are very good in the new part of the hotel but be careful if you book for 3 as the small bed is exactly that a very small bed for a child not an adult. The food is very simple, only... More

It was our third time in Cortina (2 weeks in winter and 1 week in Summer last year). The hotel has two buildings, the original one (in "Cortinese" style) and a renovated one. We were in the first one, which is ok and in line with other 4-stars hotel in Cortina. The renovated one is even more cosy and modern.... More

Last February we booked the "Lajadira Hotel" for our skiing trip to Cortina d'Ampezzo. In general they have a very friendly reception and personnel. Rooms: We had a Classic room as we had 2+1 kids with us and these rooms have two separate bedrooms. A convenient set-up. The room was very classic, wooden interiors, typical of that area but too... It was our first alpine skiing trip and we really enjoyed it. I've booked Hotel Lajadira mainly because I was expecting to get a renovated room for somewhat average 120 EUR prpn price. Well we did not get a renovated room as the minimum rate for it at the moment was 200 EUR prpn, but the old room was not... More

The best about this hotel is the spa. Three different saunas and a nice pool. The location is along the rather busy main road and some 20 minutes walking distance from Cortina city center. This means some noise and quite a lot of walking. In general the staff does not speak English very well but it works.

We have stayed in lajadira for 5 days for our ski trip. The hotel is great by all standards. From the moment we arrived until our departure, the front desk receptionist Paula and Alessandro were extremely friendly and helpful. We have stayed in the modern rooms and they were large, neat and clean. Breakfast was very good and provided a... More
