Service was scatty at his best througout our stay (crammed carpark, icy pathway leading to the hotel, the most inexperienced and unhelpful night concierge you can find in a 4-star hotel). Just returned from an extended weekend with my husband and think the previous reviews were a bit harsh. Lajadira is a 20-minute walk from the town centre. Unless you need the exercise, that alone is good reason to find alternative accommodation. Rooms are tired and the bathrooms are poorly laid out. We had no hot water on two of our three nights. It's popular with Russians, particularly the kind who start corridor parties at 2am and end them... more
