This hotel brings on the old world charm! The rooms are old fashioned in style and very charming. A quaint feature - each room door has an old fashioned outer door and a more modern inner door. The rooms are very spacious and clean. If you drive, I highly recommend reserving a paid parking lot in the underground garage. The... More

This hotel is a favorite of mine. It has been there since the 19th century and is still run by the same family. It has an old world charm but has been sensibly upgraded to be comfortable and well appointed without being glitzy. Staff are helpful and nice and efficient. There is a comfortable bar and a pleasant restaurant where... More

Stayed here for ten days in five consecutive years and loved every moment. Close to everything including guides, transport, shopping and restaurants. Adore the maitre'de Stepping back to a bygone era and enjoyed by our family of 5.

I spent 2 nights at this wonderful Hotel in Cortina. I just walked in off the street and asked if they had any spare rooms, and luckily they did! Very well located in the center of town, friendly check in staff and all the people working in the Hotel were very welcoming. I loved my room and the incredible view... More

Spent a couple nights in the Hotel de la Poste. Nice place in a wonderful downtown location, but it definitely needs updating. We had a nice corner room with a walk around balcony. However, the biggest issue is the bathrooms. First of all, it is difficult to find as it is "hidden" behind a mirrored doorway between the closets --... More

I was utterly astonished at the old world charm of this hotel in the center of Cortina. A fine family run place with lots of comfortably well worn furniture going back to the fifties when the Olympics were held in Cortina and Hemingway was a regular guest there and the seventies too. So a touch of nostalgia creeps in to... More

What can I say! Myself and my husband travel to Cortina every year and this year we decided there was no place more perfect for us to get married and we, with a help from a friend, organised our wedding for 20 June this year. We had everything organised when we found out that our favourite restaurant where we wanted... More

We recently stayed here on a family Ski Holiday. I cannot recommend it highly enough. Service and rooms were gorgeous. I did find the getting to the slopes on the bus a bit difficult but fortunately the ski bus stops at door of hotel. Rooms very clean and quaint. Linens a bit tired. I loved the bath products !!! fluffy... More

We - my wife and I - spent four wonderful mid-week days at the end of season in this very classic hotel catching the last of the snow on the slopes and a lot of sunshine. Hotel de la Poste is an “old school“ hotel in the very best sense of the word. Our standard room was large, quiet and... More
