I was here for a week of skiing in February of 2002. I was on a budget and could not afford a 5* hotel. I figured that all I would be doing in the hotel was sleeping and eating so I wouldn't care. When I got there the place had a very family like atmosphere, like you were staying with relatives. The rooms were small (like all of Italy) but then they don't have the wide open spaces of North America. It was very clean and the staff fantastic. However........ THE FOOD WAS OUT OF THIS WORLD. I could not believe that I was eating like this at a 2-3* hotel. It was as though I was eating at a 5* restaurant without the china and silver.

I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who is not a "snob" and doesn't expect 5* quality and service from a 2-3* hotel more
