We had there one night on our way from the Italian Dolomites to Venice . The room and the lobby needs makeover ,the service was kindly and welcome. The breakfast was a minimal one, not many options to choose from, but we didn't left hungry. Good value for money.

My late September/ early October trip to Cortina to explore the Dolomites and Ferratas would not have been complete without a clean, comfortable, welcoming place to end each day and I found that and more at Hotel Europa. Even without the snowy drifts I imagine frost this Swiss chalet style hotel in the winter there was irreplaceable charm that made... More

We did not stay here, but went for dinner on the recommendation of our hotel which does not have a dinning room. The meal was excellent, service was efficient and friendly. With a large group (16) they were still able to provide individualized service. Everyone enjoyed their meal.

I agree with former reviewers, this is not a 4 star hotel. It was late in the day, and the nicer hotels close to downtown were booked. We wanted to walk to town, and this is very close. However, the road noise and construction went on late and started early. The beds and pillows were hard as rocks. We think... More

Cortina d'Ampezzo doesn't lack hotels. The town, a busy winter resort on the Dolomite Alps, is also open in the summer for hiking, mountain climbing, picture taking, or simply to breathe fresh air. This is not the place where you would care to have accommodations that rival those of the Ritz. A lovely, cozy, and welcoming mid-size hotel like the... More

Our room was very spacious and loved all the wood, very unique. Bathroom was large and the view from our little windows was amazing. A bit stuffy but we left both windows open as we were on the upper floor. Staff were helpful and breakfast fine. Close to cafes and restaurants and we loved the area especially the trip up... More

We paid extra for a larger junior suite, but this was located at the front of the hotel which overlooks, and is very close to, a busy noisy road. A choice between not being able to sleep because of the stuffy room, or the noise... The hotel was full so we couldn't be moved. Beds come with a single blanket... More

3rd time we've stopped in this hotel, each time as part of a large group of Ford Cortina enthusiasts making a trip to the car's namesake. The hotel is very comfortable with great views of the surrounding mountains. It's only a 5 minute walk to the centre and restaurants. Also only a 5 or 10 min walk to the cable... More

Perfect location especially if you are arriving by bus. Only a 5 min. walk from the bus termainal station and 5 min. walk to beginning of main pedestrian walkway. We used Cortina as our launching point for hikes in the dolomites. We stayed two nights in a classic room & then returned to stay two nights in the deluxe room.... More

Spent three nights at Europa, and so glad we decided on this hotel versus the Sporting Blu, which sounds to be a little further out of town. Without a car, and not wanting to eat every meal at the hotel you're staying at, this should be a consideration. Just steps from the pedestrian street, ski rental shops and bus stops,... More
