The Frances Park is a family run hotel on the edge of the town centre. An easy walk into the pedestrian plaza but without the noise and congestion that some hotels there suffer. Rooms are comfortable and offer stunning views of the Dolomites. Staff are friendly and helpful, the restaurant offers very reasonable meals and is inexpensive. There is plenty... More

We stayed 2 nights at this family-run hotel as part of a larger family group and were extremely well looked after throughout. Half board included a very generous breakfast and evening meal and excellent service from the friendly staff. The room was comfortable with a superb balcony view and a bathroom with a bath/shower unit, a big plus in my... More

I found the location of this hotel very convenient. You are surrounded by the majestic Dolomites and yet you are 5 min walk to the town, which makes it great to go and have a date in a local restaurant, get drunk and walk back to the hotel. The rooms are clean and comfy. They have good views too. The... More

Hotel is ok, rooms are rather basic. Noise insulation very bad, you can hear your neighbours as if they are in your room, so take your earplugs with you! Decent breakfast fare, very helpful staff. Hotel restaurant is also reasonable.

Well located just 2 blocks from town. Competent and friendly staff. Unusual old fashioned decor (in a good way). Quirky but pleasant room with a nice outlook. We paid extra for a supposedly larger "comfort" room but it was far from large (and no air con). Breakfasts pretty good. Had dinner there one night which was good (although the buffet... More

A large old fashion family style hotel with austro-Hungerian style and rather old guests (and we are over 60). The room was large, wood-pannelled with nice veranda over looking a main road. There was no air condition and as it was hot .Location was great.

Recent 2 night stay at the end of a trip around the Alps. Given the length of our stay, we were looking for somewhere easy to find with ease of parking, as well as the usual requirements of being comfortable clean and good value. The Franceschi ticks all these boxes. Which ever direction you approach Cortina, the hotel is easy... More

This is a family owned and run hotel, despite its imposing size and facilities. It is about 5 minutes walk from the centre of Cortina, and conveniently located for all road connections. The hotel offers a buffet breakfast with many, many options and and excellent, fixed-price dinner of four courses with several choices. The restaurant service is superlative, and the... More

Great hotel. Easy to locate and two minutes from the main shopping, cafes and restaurants. Wonderful breakfast with hot and cold options- lovely cappuccino and seasonal stone fruit, croissants, cakes, yoghurts, cereals, cheeses and cold meat. Service excellent. Rooms very comfortable with views of the mountains. Just a note there were no English speaking TV channels available. Overall a lovely... More

We spent three nights at this well located, well run hotel. The dining area, bar and common areas are quite impressive (did not get to try to the spa), but the rooms are somewhat dated. The breakfast is excellent as is all of the food. If you stay here, definitely eat here. As others have remarked, the staff is very... More
