Spectacular setting at the top of a peak over 9000 ft high. The largest rifugio we stayed at in our week in the Dolomites with a number of private rooms and dormitories. No en suite rooms available but our room for 2 was comfortable and clean with the toilet and washbasin just across the landing. Showers are good - you... More

High quality food and friendly service. It is possible to taste many local dishes. Great view of the dolomites. It is reachable by a cableway. It's worth visiting nearby First World War fortifications.

It's not just about the wonderful location and the most breathtaking views that you can ever imagine. It feels like being on the very top of Dolomites; a truly must see destination. 2750m above sea level, it offers a wonderful stay and excellent local cuisine. This Rifugio has been run as a a family business for the last three generations.... More

I love this place. It is a thrill being at almost 3000 meters with views that cannot be beat. Made it here once a couple of years ago and had to come back for this Christmas. If you like to ski and good food and great hosts this is must place. On top of that I don't think you find... More

We skied to this wonderful hotel for a spectacular night stay. You stay here to be on top of the mountains for a unique experience at 2742m ASL. The sunset and sunrise was exciting over endless snow covered rock outcrops with watercolours splashing the skyline. The hotel has quaint rooms upstairs and dormatory rooms downstairs. The meals were delicious. The... More

We were 4 girls on a mountain biking trip. We left our car in the lot below and rode the gondola up to the Rifugio. The hikes around the rifugio are beautiful. There's also an old World War I hideout nearby. Our room was fine and spacious enough for the 4 of us. The rifugio supplied soap and the bathrooms... More

We stayed here one night in a double room in early April and we were so glad we did! We drove so we parked at foot of the cable car station below and took the cable car up.The location of this rifugio is fantastic and we got many beautiful sunrise and sunset photos of the surrounding mountain ranges. The staff... More

A stunning location above the clouds. Superb views, a wonderful setting. Ten out of ten. But the accommodation food and facilities were dreadful- coin operated showers that didn't work, indifferent food, cramped quarters, shared bathrooms. A relief and welcome after a long walk, but with a bit of effort could be superb.

You can either swan up here on the gondola and stay overnight in a very neat Rifugio and then walk over the plateau behind to take in the wonderful routes into the northern ridge at the other side. We had walked up the Kasierjager and hot chocolate beckoned. And what a hot choc it was. Luxury in a cup. at... More

First of all, the location is spectacular, with an incredible view. I think for that reason they think they can get away with playing with their bookings. We had booked a private room for two 7 months before our trip and when we hiked there after a long day, he told us our room had been cancelled. I could see... More
