We stayed 6 nights in 2 deluxe rooms hotel is located in a great position and feels brand new. Breakfast was average, service and staff were good. For a hotel in the snow it misses the feeling of the winter hotel particularly in the bar area where even a gas fire would add to the ambiance. It's like a corporate... More

It was the 2nd year we went to Cortina for ski holidays and wanted to have a great break. It was wrong to book Savoia and it is nowhere close to 5 star hotel and definitely not worth the price you pay: - the check in time is 2 pm, however 1 of 2 rooms was not ready and the... More

This is more like a 3 star business hotel near an airport than a luxury hotel in the Dolomites. Rooms are very pretty, but the beds are extremely hard mattresses that sit upon very cheap looking platforms. Sleeping was so uncomfortable that we left a day early despite still having to pay for the night we skipped. The bed linens... More

There is nothing inherently wrong with this hotel per se, just be prepared for a 3 star experience at exorbitant Cortina 5 star prices. The lobby and bar are spotless but very cold - you almost feel you're in an airport lounge; it's tough for me to fall in love with a Dolomite hotel that lacks a cozy, warm fireplace... More

We are staying in Savoia for several years now and do not want to try anything else. We like its charm, light modern interior and always enjoy our stay. The staff is friendly, rooms are quite spacious, they have a spa, a kids club and are conveniently located close to the city centre. I wouldn't necessarily say that the food... More

Cortina d'Ampezzo is all about the scenery. It's a town stretched across a beautiful valley below the towering Dolomites. So it's a little disappointing when a five-star hotel room affords a partial view of the mountains, and a parking lot. Don't get me wrong--the Savoia is a very nice hotel. The hall ways are pristine, and the rooms are nice... More

The Hotel is simply wonderfull, very charming, with an excelent reception and personel, very atencious, nice rooms, great room service, and most imprtant near of everything that mathers in Cortina. There are very goods restaurants and " just looking simple " places to eat, but when you are inside, you will be very, very satisfied with the great simple meal.... More

The setting is spectacular, with breathtaking mountain views from almost every room. The hotel is spotless, and the rooms large. The Spa area on the lower level boasts a large indoor pool, hot tub, steam and sauna. The hotel is located on the main road into Cortina, but is only a block from the pedestrian zone, and restaurants are abundant... More

The Grand is a lovely 5 star hotel in Cortina D'Ampezzo, in the Dolomite region of Italy. The only disappointment was my vegetarian dinner which was uninspired. The bathroom is lovely with heated marble floors, lovely shower and a comfortable bedroom.

Visited this hotel on business for 3 days. It was a delightful stay, the room was clean and comfortable with shuttered windows that opened to a view of the mountains. That was my favorite part! There's an outdoor seating area which it was just barely warm enough to make use of, but we made it work as the views were... More
