We stayed at the Hotel Traiano in Civitavecchia for one night prior to our cruise. This hotel was perfect for this purpose. We enjoyed quite a large room and although the beds were a little hard, after an overnight flight from Canada, the room was cool and welcoming. It is located a little further away from the water, but the... More

I hate it when there are many things that I actually love about a hotel but there are several things that would keep me from coming back (maybe). So is the tale of Hotel Traiano. Let me dwell on the positives to start. The reception was warm and welcoming. The staff were wonderful and when need be, very informative. Suggestions... More

We stays just one night before embarking on our cruise. Clean hotel, big room and a safe place to park our car for the whole week during our week cruise. Grazie Gianni ! We will surely be back when we take our next cruise !

This hotel suited our family very nicely. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the services offered were exactly what we needed for a stay in Civitavecchia the day before our cruise departed. We missed out on the shuttle from the airport, but the train ride was relaxing. The hotel offers shuttles to the port, so that saved us... More

Finding this family owned, local hotel was a very pleasant, positive surprise. It has a quaint but modern layout. The staff is friendly and helpful. The free wifi, breakfast and shuttle service is a nice convenience. And, it's a good value, especially compared to the hotels closer to the water and cruise ship terminals. All in all a very good... This hotel was wonderful, especially considering how little it was per night. We stayed for one night before our cruise and the hotel shuttle picked us up from FCO and the driver was on time and very helpful as was the driver who took us to the cruise port. The staff was so friendly and the breakfast was delicious. The... More

Stayed at Hotel Traiano for a few nights before leaving on Mediterranean cruise. Perfect accomodations, very nice breakfast offered, wonderful staff - shout out to Veronica who helped us secure a quick taxi to Rome to meet our guide for a Vatican Tour! and to Ivan our taxi driver who got us there in the nick of time!! Didn't catch... More

This was a nice and clean hotel with an apartment type feel. Huge balcony looking over the corners was interesting for people watching. The beds are a bit hard but other than that it was a great place. This is a small port town with friendly locals but the town itself is a rough around the edges. Nice and easy... More

Stayed there overnight only. Liked the room. Spacious. Room 320, third floor. Price was reasonable. Did not like the smell, a bit "wet" Did not like the lighting in the room. Certainly not enjoyed the towels. Old, hard and worn. Clean though. Breakfast included. Nothing too fancy though. Train station 10min walk. Seaftont , 10 mon walk
