Stayed for 1 night pre cruise. Is this a luxury resort you'd want to spend 14 days in? No. For a stop over with a comfortable, clean room, great friendly service it is A1 and good value for money. We also used their transfer from airport which was very good. Complimentary transfer to cruise terminal was excellent.

We booked 2suites with kitchen and washing machine. Kitchen was poorly equipped, no cups, no electric jug, a few old dishes, pots and cutlery, the stove top was dirty and the fridge was iced up. Washing machines were dirty and didn't work. The manager would do nothing to rectify the problems. Bed was very hard, could not sleep on it.... More

Dear Madam, first of all I am sorry to read these your words about our hotel mainly because I realize that sometimes the reality can be distorted. A review that in truth we expected, though certainly not content with these, since she has "threatened" to do several times to each and every complaint, and especially when it refused to pay... More

We recently stayed unexpectedly at this hotel due to a medical emergency on a cruise. During the 4 days I experienced nothing but the best of attention and assistance from the management and staff. We were facilitated in getting taxi's locally,an airport transfer and help in organising alternative flight bookings at short notice. The facilities were clean and comfortable and... More

It's the second time that we stayed overnight at Hotel Traiano prior to embarking on a cruise. Close to the train station and they offer a a free shuttle service to the port. Great continental breakfast. Great service, good value and would definitely recommend. Only Italian TV channels.

This is a convenient clean hotel for staying pre cruise. Nicely decorated.... Breakfast was fine - a tad above the normal European breakfasts offered ... Wifi and some American stations helped with relaxing time in the room ... The transport to the cruise ship was free, comfortable and punctual ... Stuff happens but I boosted the rating due to how... Stayed here for two nights prior to our cruise. The hotel is old but spotless and provides a good breakfast and free transport to the cruise port, it also has free Wifi. The staff were very helpful and gave a good recommendation for our evening meal, transport to Rome via train is handy and is cheep at around 8 euro... More

I stayed in Hotel Traiano before leaving on a transatlantic cruise. Great location at a reasonable price. The owners and attendants are great and make you feel right at home. Room was very clean with two large queen beds and a very large bathroom. The room also include a very large balcony. They also have a great shuttle service (included... More

There are not many hotels in Civitavecchia. When you are looking for a decent pre-cruise hotel I would recommend Traiano. They offer a complimentary shuttle to your cruiseship between 10 am and noon. They also offer a decent priced Rome airport shuttle. Rooms are very standard and cannot and should not be compared with the luxury you are going to... More

We stayed at the Hotel Traiano for two days prior to our Celebrity Cruise trip. You can arrange with the hotel to get a shuttle from Rome Airport. Price varies by how many people come on the shuttle. You can also take a train to Rome and then switch and take a train to Civitavecchia. There are no elevators and... More

We booked this "hotel" when there was a train strike in Italy and we had to get to our destination one day earlier than planned. It is more a hostel than a hotel. From arrival into the dingy lobby to our postage stamp sized room, this is not a place I would ever return to. Carpet on stairs was dirty... More

Before responding to this review about our hotel I wanted to wait for it to pass the rage for all the lies and malice described much to be doubted if the 'author has really been our guest. Although Italian law gives the possibility to prosecute those who defames the end I thought that this character deserves it so much attention... More
