Stayed for one night before joining the ship. Great location right on the front overlooking the sea, but that's about it. Very tired, dark room, not enough lights. Rather limited continental breakfast, and a plastic spoon to stir your coffee, that really sums it up. The whole place could be so much better with a thorough cleaning a few coats... More

Shower mildew, shower head sprayed horizontally only, curtain rail lopsided, no safe in room, luggage rifled with while we went for a swim, only stayed one night ax catching a ship next day, jewellery stolen and miscellaneous items. Large room good air con. Stay away.

Stayed here in August 2015. The hotel is a pit. There was vomit on the floor in the passage when we arrived and it was still there when we left. The beds were uncomfortable as the mattresses I think have never been changed. The hotel was not particularly clean. There was a free breakfast in the morning which was not... More

We stayed here before going on a Mediterranean Cruise. It was set on the forefront of the beach so the location was excellent. Plenty of places to eat nearby. The staff were helpful and the rooms whilst fairly basic were clean. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice

Have recently stayed at the Hotel Mediterraneo prior to joining a cruise out of Civitavecchia - booked regular room and received an ocean view room which was perfectly clean and tidy and well laid out with a good bathroom and facilities. Breakfast was serve yourself in the ground floor dining room, only cold, but perfectly good with good hot coffee.... More

Stayed in a room with a great ocean view , with a double bed and two singles , it is a very nice and clean room . The facilities and size of the room was very good for a family of four . We booked it for a night prior to a cruise . It is about a 400metre walk... More

Just not too bad.. beautiful view from there.. and the most unforgottable is the luggage seller and the crepes seller in front of that hotel.. it's good.. near from the downtown walk.. and the unique of this hotel is they have a separated place of their restaurant for dinner.. so you have to walk out from the hotel building for... This is a popular cruise ship departure port, so often the hotels fill up just before sailing time. In any case, this hotel should be a "last resort" if needed. The rooms are Spartan, roomy enough for a night or 2, with Spartan bathrooms and virtually no amenities. There is decent WIFI in the lounge only. The shower in the... More

We stayed in this hotel as a pre cruise night. Yes, the location is very good and the view from the room is nice if you have a sea view room. However, all the rest is demoralizing…. When we arrived, the grumpy receptionist needed some time before looking at us. Not a smile, no hello we had the impression we... More

Stayed here July 24 2014 in room 130 the night before my cruise left on the Celebrity Reflection. When I woke up there was blood streaks on the sheets and I saw an odd shaped bug on the bed. My husband and I didn't see any signs that we were bleeding so we didn't know what to make of the... More
