Nice hotel, we were the only people in the on site restaurant that evening. Pool is busy enough, with a small hotel bar and snack stand. Very basic rooms - a place to rest your head for a night or 2 before boarding a cruise! A trip to the city centre is what you want to be doing !

I booked this hotel for an overnight stop before cruise. The hotel was about a 10 minute taxi ride from the train station and 15-20 minutes to the port. We didn't check in until around 9.30pm but the restaurant was still open. The terrace outside overlooking the small marina was very nice. The menu was quite basic but the food... More

Had a wonderful stay at the SunBay Park Hotel on our way to a cruise in the Mediterranean. It was a great way to get over the jet lag from Canada and be prepared for our journey. The staff was so kind, the rooms so very comfortable and the view was outstanding with balconies for all guests and a nice... More

I agree with most of the negative comments from previous reviews. Although the view from our room was excellent, the overall upkeep of the property was poor, gardens needed tending, broken pot plants, wifi only available in the foyer and not working, breakfast very poor quality, watered down orange juice, stale pastries etc. and the property is a long way... The hotel is located right on the beach with astonishing view to the sea. There is excellent sea water pool and family type evening activities. The staff is polite and helpful. The rooms are tidy and clean. It is decorated in an old fashion style that actually creates a special atmosphere. On the other hand it is definitely not a... More

I came to this hotel after a stint in an Olbia Hospital & stayed a month 2 dogs. What had already become a ruined summer, Fabrizio, (The Prince of SunBay) went well above the call of duty as my favors, needs and issues measured in the double digits. The restaurant is 5 stars. The food is delivered quickly & always... More

. I'm not into writing hotel reviews but this one was just screaming to be written. The Sun Bay Park Hotel reminds me of an abandoned, dilapidated fairground to which the people stopped coming 20 years ago. The only thing missing was the tumbling tumbleweed. The SBP Hotel was converted from an obviously once grand and glamorous villa to a... More

I originally had a reservation at the Hotel Traiano but two days prior to my departure I was notified that due to put problems I had been moved to the Sunbay. I read the reviews at tripadvisor and was not excited. The staff at the hotel assured me that I would be picked up at FCO and I was. I... More

The SunBay Park hotel located on the Mediterranean cost just South of the town of Civitavecchia Italy, came to us as one of those very pleasant surprises on our trip to the Holy Land. Without a doubt the front desk is what makes your first impression of any hotel. SunBay Park gets six stars in this category. My wife and... More
