My wife and I spent one night at the Hotel Borgo Del Mar; October 17 prior to taking a cruise. The hote was a hugh disappointment and it was 120 euros for the night. The room was smaller than our walk-in closet at home. The beds and pillows were among the worst that I can remember. The room was dusty... More

This was a small, family owned local hotel in the port city of Civitavecchia Italy. We stayed there the night before boarding a cruise ship. We dealt with them thru email. They were quick was responses. They picked us up at the airport in Rme. Fee was much less then the cruise line. Clean handicap friendly hotel. Small outside patio... More

Stayed here one night before cruise. Purchased their transfer from the airport in Rome. Went off without a hitch. My flight was delayed, but the driver was still there waiting for me outside of luggage. Breakfast was very good. Fruit, tea, eggs and bacon cooked to order. Several types of pastries. They DO have free internet, which I am using... More

Booked this hotel via the net while overnight before a cruise from Civvitavechia Travel agent had nothing on their books. Excellent hotel with free shuttle to cruise terminal. Excellent room free wifi free breakfast what more could you want. Excellent meal in their restaurant. Highly recommended also by other cruise ship passengers who used it.

Quiet location away from the downtown area. Wonderful staff. We were treated well. We arrived earlier than expected and we were able to check in immediately. Accommodations were very well kept. We will stay here again on our next Mediterranean cruise.

Started off on the wrong foot when the hotel's driver was not at the Rome airport to meet us. I was about to make other arrangements when he finally got there. One would think that for 110€ for less than an hour drive, he could be on time. The rooms are typically small for a European hotel and sparsely furnished.... More

We were met promptly and efficiently at the airport by the pre-arranged shuttle and the driver was very pleasant and welcoming. We were only staying for the one night and the room was a bit on the small side, but adequate for a 1-night stay. Any more than maybe two nights, and we'd have struggled to fit enough clothes in... Stayed one night pre-cruise at the Hotel Borgo del Mare. The price was less expensive than hotels located nearer the port and the reviews were pretty good. The hotel is clean and the service is very good. There is a free shuttle service to the port that runs every 30 minutes. The breakfast was okay - we didn't eat dinner... More

Selected Hotel Borgo del Mare based on several review sites. Was a good selection. It is some distance from the port, but they do have a shuttle. Rooms were satisfactory for short stay. The staff was hospitable and helpful. Morning breakfast was good. Excellent dinner meal at a nearby seaside restaurant. (eating times are VERY late for some reason most... More
