We only stayed one night on a stop over before boarding a cruise. Very clean hotel. Basic rooms which are a good size. Clean bathroom. Good breakfast. Friendly staff and free quick wifi. Recommend if you need a bed for a night before a cruise.

Stayed here for one night prior to our cruise. The location is basically across the roundabout from the ship shuttle buses. It is nothing fancy but the room was large and facilities are clean. Our room 402 was a treat with a big balcony overlooking the town and cruise ship docks. Breakfast was basic and simple. Staff were all very... More

I stayed for 1 night at this property while awaiting an incoming cruise ship. The hotel simple but very clean with a friendly staff (English speaking) who were able to guide me to some very good restaurants. They do have wifi which was free. Upon checking out the next morning there was a free continental breakfast. I would recommend this... More

We walked to hotel from the train station. We took the city bus to the cruise ship. Convenient location. The waterfront comes alive in the evening. Great location for people viewing. Basic hotel with basic amenities.

We stayed at the hotel for one night before our cruise. We arranged transportation from the airport through the hotel. That was a good idea. The location was great. An easy walk to some restaurants and local shopping. The hotel was also a short walk to the cruise shuttles. The hotel was nice, good breakfast. The staff was very helpful.... More

We stayed in Hotel Traghetto 1 night, before leaving on a Mediterranean cruise from Civitavecchia the next morning. The plan was to arrive in the area the day before during the afternoon, drop off our luggage & go to Rome for the night (by train). Sleep-in the next morning, get breakfast & head to the ship around noon. The plan... More

Based on reviews we had read on Trip Advisor, we decided to give this hotel a try for the night before our cruise. The location was great! We only had to walk down the hill in order to board our free shuttle bus to the cruise port. We loved the view from our balcony! The room was clean and the... More

We stayed at this hotel the night before our cruise departed. The rooms are pretty non-descript. Pretty much like a Best Western. There was no ice machine. if you wanted ice, you had to get it from reception, and they gave you about enough to fill a coffee cup. However, the staff was extremely helpful, and their English was excellent.... More

I stayed in the Hotel Traghetto last year and again this year...for 3 weeks. My room was very clean, comfortable, good t.v. with a couple of English speaking channels and wonderful air conditioning. All the comforts of home. I found the staff to all be extremely accommodating and willing to help me with everything. The Manager, Giuseppe Esposito, always went... More

I regret staying in this hotel for one night before cruise. First, no one there understanding or speaking proper english. Second, no one welcoming us or smile. Third, the room, pillows and bedsheet are not clean (dust and mosquitos everywhere) Fourth, house keepers didn't Come to repair our room & bed in the night. Fifth, no porter to carried our... More
